THE SINGLES PROJECT airs a new episode on Bravo tonight. On tonight’s episode called, “Match Made in Man-Hattan”, Joey has a sizzling second date; Kerry goes out with a man chosen by viewers; and Brian has his first date.
For those of you not familiar with the show, the new, innovative docu-series follows a group of young, successful New York singles as they search for love and strive to conquer the city that never sleeps. Viewers will help these undeniable catches overcome their hang-ups, which may include getting over an ex, managing their high expectations or broadening their dating horizons so they can eventually find “the one.”
On the last episode, in the big premiere, they threw a blowout party for the singles and their friends and family in New York City at the posh Hudson Terrace club where six sexy young New Yorkers embarked on their first dates.
On tonight’s episode, the real-time dating experiment continues with another batch of promising set-ups, steamy hook-ups and face-planting fails. In preparation for the televised action, fans are going wild on Twitter with forecasts for how the Singles will fare in Week 2 — and life/love/relationships in general when Joey has a steamy second date; dentist Lee has a massive shock; Kerry dates a guy that has been chosen by the viewers.

Tonight’s episode of The Singles Project begins with Brian, a single 29 year old. He was a corporate attorney, and was miserable with his life because fashion was his calling, now he is co-owner of a men’s clothing store. He thinks he finally has his life together, and he is ready to start dating. The problem is, he is usually attracted to “the crazies.” His business partner Matt and his wife Lauren are Brian’s inspiration, he wants to be happily married like them. He shows Matt and Lauren pictures of girls that reached out to him on Twitter, and they help him pick a girl to date with.
38 year old Becka meets up with her friend and mentor Bevy. She’s a successful, professional business woman, and participating on the Singles Project is out of her comfort zone. Becka fills Bevy in on her date with Jerome, Becka thinks he is a little young, but Bevy encourages her to give him a chance. She wants Becka to open up to people and show them that she isn’t a shrewd business woman, and that she is empathetic and a good friend.
37 year old Lee heads out on a date with Marisa, a girl he met at an art exhibit. Marisa arrives and they begin chatting and getting to know each other. The waiter delivers them wine, seeing as how they are at a winery, and Marisa reveals that she doesn’t drink and is actually allergic to wine. The appetizers arrive and Marisa announces that she doesn’t eat peppers. Lee tries to make small talk, and Marisa interrupts him and tells him that their date isn’t working and she thinks he is rude and inconsiderate and they have no chemistry, she storms off leaving Lee shocked and confused.
Ericka heads out on a date with Jerome, and they meet up for drinks at a bar. While she and Jerome are chatting, Ericka’s phone rings and she has to take a work call. After she gets off the phone, she learns that Jerome is only 24 and he still lives at home with his parents. Ericka tells him that she doesn’t think that it is going to work out because of their age difference, but she knows the perfect girl for him and plans to introduce them.
After Ericka’s date with Jerome, she meets up with Lee and they dish on their dates. Lee tells her how Marisa cursed him out and stormed off. He explains that she was mad that he took her to a winery and had his phone on the table. Ericka explains that she isn’t going to go out with Jerome again because he is only 24.
Tabasum heads to the park to meet her sister and brother-in-law and her nieces. Tabasum sits down to chat with her sister Taseen about the Singles Project. She thinks that Tabasum goes for guys that are too flashy, and she is going to help her find a “good man.”
[11:32:21 PM] Amanda Austin: Joey meets up with Anthony again for a second date, on a roof deck bar. Joey can’t get over how hot Anthony is, and invites him to go for a dip in the pool with him. Once they are in the water, Joey feels like they are connecting, and they begin making out. Afterwards Joey confesses that he is attracted to Anthony, but he is concerned that they are running out of things to talk about.
Kerry sits down with her mom Jayne to discuss her date with Chris, she is disappointed because the wanted everyone to vote for Matt instead. Chris calls her and reveals that he has their date planned, and they are going to go out on a boat.
Brian meets up with Becca, a girl that Matt and Lauren picked out for him online. She orders a drink and Brian reveals that he doesn’t drink, it doesn’t seem to stop her though and she orders wine. She says that she contacted him because she seen in his bio that he likes girls with confidence and edgy fashion, and she thinks she is both of those things.
Tabasum pays Joey a visit so that he can do her eyebrows and he vents to her that he thinks Anthony and him have nothing in common and nothing to talk about. Tabasum convinces him to go out on a third date and see if there is anything between them.
Becca is driving Brian insane, he excuses himself and heads outside and calls his friend Matt and tells him that the date is a disaster. He goes back in to the restaurant and Becca is ordering her third glass of wine. He lies to her and tells her there is an emergency at the store and he has to leave. He rates their date a three.
Kerry heads out on her date with Chris, they meet up at the dock and board a boat to “tour NYC.” Kerry puts her life vest on and has Chris put one on too so that she can send a picture to her mom and tell her that they are being safe. She already feels nauseas and they are only five feet away from the dock.
Joey meets up with Anthony for their third date. They head to the park for a picnic and Joey decides to put Anthony on the spot and ask him what he likes about him. Joey lets him know that it bothers him that he doesn’t ask him any personal questions.
Kerry feels awkward on her date with Chris, she confesses to hi that it bothers her that every one on social media says her voice is annoying. He reassures her that he thinks her voice is fine. They sit down for dinner and Kerry confesses that she is glad that America chose him after all. Chris convinces Kerry to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on the boat.
On Joey and Anthony’s date, Joey decides to break it off with Anthony and tells him that he wants a relationship just not with him.
