Tonight on NBC the Emmy award winning music competition The Voice continues with an all new Monday November 10, season 7 episode 14 called, “THE LIVE PLAYOFFS, NIGHT 1.” On tonight’s episode, the playoff round begins with the Top 20 vocalists performing

Kicking off the show tonight is Maroon 5 performing on stage, Blake says that he doesn’t talk about the live shows; they just rehearse and lets them just keep doing what they do best. Adam says that it is very hard, but knows his team is going to bring it in the live shows. Gwen says that she is so excited to be here live. Pharrell says that he is super proud of his team and can’t believe that they chose him; he’s super pump and it is far more fun than he imagined.
First up tonight is Taylor Brashears and she quit her food truck job to be here now, Blake gave her “Long Time Gone” by The Dixie Chicks, she is very excited about this song and loves it so much. Taylor is so happy that people are searching up for her music now and doesn’t want to go back.
Pharrell says that he loved her from the beginning and that she sings with such a nostalgic tone, it feels so different then country right now; he liked it a lot. Gwen says that she is shocked with how comfortable she looks. Adam says that she is great and also loves her confidence, she really commands the stage very well. Blake says that she did great, he loved her sound and she brought out tons of personality tonight.
Next up is Jessie Pitts, he stole her from team Gwen and he gave her the song “I Need a Hero” by Bonnie Tyler and Blake believes if she isn’t in the pocket then it throws everything off; she has to keep it on track.
Pharrell says the way she finds the pocket is amazing, she just hits the sweet spot the whole time and he loved it. Gwen says that she kept wanting to be super jealous of Blake, yet was happy with how great she is and how she keeps improving. Blake says she is completely original and has picked the right moment to do her best performance yet.
Next up is James David Carter and he’s been getting tons of marriage proposals, it’s been really fun. James is singing “Two of a Kind, Workin’ on a Full House” by Garth Brooks. Blake is showing him different ways to approach the songs to stand out and make it his own; James is really happy working with Blake and in does not want to home.
Pharrell says that once again he knew he’d be special, he ended the song perfectly. Gwen says that he sounds like a record, as if he already recorded because of how beautiful his voice is. Adam says that he is one of his favorite and loves how good he is, performing once again flawlessly. Blake says that he continues to be that rock, he can always count on him to get on stage and just do an amazing job.
Next up is Matt McAndrew and before the blinds he taught music and worked at a grocery store, but he is now aiming to get signed to a label. Matt chose the song “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys for his mother, Adam likes the song choice and is really impressed with how well he sings it; he knows that Matt will kill it tonight.
Blake says that Matt sung the song perfectly and it was such a different song choice to pick, he loved that performance a lot. Pharrell says that he loves how unique he is and would buy his music without a doubt. Gwen says she almost burst into tears, it was such a powerful and amazing performance. Adam says that was such a big risk, he loves how fearless and unique he is; nobody is like him and he is blown away from him.
Next up is Raegen James, she is the youngest person in the competition; she is doing “Try” by Colbie Cailat and knows this is the perfect song for her. Blake wants her to be more dynamic in the song and likes how she is really trying hard to make this song her very own.
Pharrell says she was coasting up their and did such an amazing job, it was such a beautiful performance. Gwen says that she did so much in this performance but it looked effortless. Blake says that without a doubt she is one of the most important artists they have had, she is 15 but is so talented
Next up is Taylor Phelan who Adam stole, Taylor is so happy to be working with him and has looked forward to this so much; he moved around a lot as a kid and never had many friends. So he put all his focus into music, he’s really amazed to be where he is right now. He is singing “Cool Kids” by Echosmith.
Pharrell is so proud of him and feels the same after meeting his family, he just proved why people should buy his album. Gwen says that he has done such a great performance, it’s like watching a peer. Adam says that Taylor blew them all away from the start, it’s amazing how he keeps on impressing everyone and is proud to have him on his team.
Next up is Mia Pfirrmann, she is singing “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey Adam doesn’t want her to run away from the notes, he knows she can just attack them and kill it. He knows she is so talented but she needs this risk to show how great she is.
Blake says it was such a beautiful song and a great performance, her voice was perfect for it. Pharrell says that he agrees with Blake, she really was the star of that performance. Adam says that it’s crazy how he expects her to be great, yet is so proud of her because how she listened so much to his advice.
Next up is Damien and he is really amazed how everyone is noticing him, Adam wants him to sing “I’m Not the Only One “ by Sam Smith. Damien is going to pull from his past to bring out the emotion he needs for the song, he loves how Adam wants him to use different notes.
Blake says that he loves how he can mix his smooth voice with both control and power so perfectly. Pharrell says that one his voice just moves around so perfectly and is sure that his friends and family at home are proud of him. Gwen says that he has so much truth in him and the audience was so insanely loud for him. Adam says he likes seeing Pharrell get into it, he knew without a doubt that the whole country felt his amazing performance.
The last artist tonight is Craig Wade Boyd, Blake really likes how he changed his style now and looks far better. Craig says that he has been selling out a lot of his shows now and done a couple of radio shows, he is so happy to finally get his chance . Craig is singing “Some Kind of Wonderful” by Grand Funk Railroad.
Pharrell says that from the first time he came up that his own vibe is perfect, he really loves what him and Blake are doing together. Gwen says that he totally worked that song and stage as his own. Blake says that he was the performance of the night, he is so happy to have him back on his team.
