The Walking Dead is one of those shows that never fails to get our hearts pounding. Most of you can relate to this. If you missed last week’s episode, then you’ll definitely want to get caught up before we discuss this mysterious new town that our fave characters have found themselves in. If you’re like us, then you might be a bit suspicious of Terminus and its citizens’ motives. Click here to get our live recap of The Walking Dead season 4 episode 15 “Us.”
At the end of last week’s episode, Glenn and company finally made it to Terminus. They drew their weapons; however, when they don’t see or hear anything dangerous, they put them down and enter the gates. Terminus looks like a little town situated inside a bunch of what used to be businesses or a large school of some sort. It definitely gave off that community vibe.
When they finally reached the middle of Terminus, a woman named Mary introduced herself. She told them that they look like they have been on the road a long time. Mary also told them that the folks of Terminus will get them settled in and then “fix them a plate” of nice food. And then Mary does something that makes us worry . . . . She SMILES.
Now, we’re not saying a smile is a bad thing. It just makes us worry a bit, that’s all. Because what if these people are borderline crazysauce and actually cannibals! When we first see Mary, there are large grills behind her housing gigantic slabs of meat. Cooking. Charring. I mean, hopefully not people meat, right? It seems like it’s a possibility that the people of Terminus lure in unsuspecting travelers, those who are weary and beaten down, only to cannibalize them when they least expect it.
What are your thoughts on Terminus? We’re not sure how far the writers will stray from the Terminus+Hunters depicted in the graphic novels, but we should prepare for the worst. Leave your thoughts in the comments section below!
