The Walking Dead season 5 spoilers predicted Beth’s death and the mid-season finale went off exactly as we expected, in Beth Greene’s [Emily Kinney] death. Everyone knew it was coming, but it was still heartbreaking to see it happen, especially since Beth had grown into such a strong, independent, and resourceful character in the past three seasons. Now, the question on everyone’s minds is how the rest of the group will pick up after such a devastating loss, especially when it concerns Maggie [Lauren Cohan] and Daryl [Norman Reedus]. These two were the closest to Beth, and will obviously be hit hardest by her death, although Carol [Melissa McBride] will also feel her share of the guilt.
AMC has already released a brief sneak peek promo video for The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 9 spoilers, even though the episode is still weeks away from airing [after the winter hiatus]. The synopsis and promo video shows several spoilers, including Rick Grimes [Andrew Lincoln], Baby Judith, Carol, and Daryl all walking down some deserted road, looking upset and emotional. Michonne’s voice in the background can be heard intoning, “For a 100 miles away, what if there is someplace where we can be safe. It’s a chance, we could have just been out here, if it is about just making it.”
We see a ton of walkers on the way, with one almost taking Rick’s arm off. Rick ends the promo with, “It will be okay because this is how we survive.” Strong parting words, but will they last? The group obviously has to have a new destination, and if they’re following the comic, then they’re headed straight towards the Alexandria Safe Zone near Washington, D.C. Will they make it there without losing another member of their group? And when will Morgan [Lennie James] finally meet up with them? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
