There are photos of Dean McDermott leaving a rehab facility in Los Angeles, one that reportedly specializes in alcohol and drug addiction as well as psychological and personality disorders. One would assume that sex addiction is one of the conditions treated at this facility, which falls in line with Life & Style’s previous story. According to their report, Tori Spelling has given Dean an ultimatum: either go to rehab for sex addiction, or get divorced.
Obviously, Tori had to be seen doing something after Dean was caught cheating on her with a woman named Emily Goodhand. I don’t think anyone assumes that this is Dean’s first time cheating, but this is the first time it’s come out so publicly.
An eyewitness who spotted Dean leaving the rehab facility told Life & Style, “Dean wore sunglasses and was sitting in the passenger seat of the car. He did not appear at all happy. He looked like he hadn’t shaved for a week and had a very sad look on his face as he was driven away.”
Who would appear ‘happy’ when they were being forced to attend rehab? Dean knows that if Tori divorced him, he’d have nothing left – either in his personal life or career. Tori would take his children away, and he’d be branded a cheating sex addict.
Right now, the only way he can save his marriage is to attend rehab, although it’s not clear whether this was just a voluntary consultation or he’s getting outpatient treatment. If he was being treated for alcohols or drugs, he’d obviously have to check in to the facility, but I assume sex rehab doesn’t require such strict rehabilitation. Then again, who knows what Tori’s ultimatum contains, and whether Dean will even manage to stick by it. Seriously, he might just be a serial cheater, forget the sex addiction part.
