Whitney Houston Naked Corpse Police Comments Lead To Cop Lawsuit

Whitney Houston can’t rest in peace apparently. Years after her sudden death, a Los Angeles Police officer present at the scene of her death is suing the department claiming that he was canned for being a whistle blower. Apparently, St. Brian Weir informed his superiors that Sargent Terry Nutall knelt down next to the dead body of a musical legend and said “Damn, she’s still looking good huh?”

According to Weir, after he alerted his superiors of the classless comment, he was removed from his positions on the SWAT and K-9 teams. This situation is just wrong on many levels. I’m sure police make inappropriate comments all the time. People that work in medical and police services often have dark senses of humor, it’s their way of dealing with the atrocities they see everyday. This entire situation reeks of fame-whoring, I guess it’s not limited to celebs. Weir should have chosen a more cause worthy reason to blow that whistle. I’m sure there are more heinous things occurring in the department that he ignored because they aren’t salacious enough. Not to mention the fact that he’s probably made inappropriate comments on the job himself; but since this situation is high profile his comments get him fired (thus setting him up for a whistleblower lawsuit) and a spot on TMZ. These people are all class.

In my opinion, he is disrespecting Whitney even more than the cop who made the comment, because her untimely and tragic death is now being dragged up again. Her already troubled daughter now has to live through a frivolous lawsuit that didn’t have to be. I’m in no way condoning that behavior of the police, they can be drunk with power and generally jerks. But, in the grand scheme of things it was pretty harmless thing to tattle about. My hope is that bottom feeders like these guys fade away into the obscurity they came from and leave this woman to rest in peace, but with the world we love in, he will probably end up on a reality show to assault our eyes for years to come.
