A week after the scandal involving The Young and the Restless’s Michael Muhney picked up speed it seems like we’re learning new tidbits every day. Muhney did about 40 episodes of the cult classic, Veronica Mars and according to sources close to that show he was always difficult to handle. So far there have been no sexual harassment allegations coming from his old stomping ground, but his ego was a huge problem. According to TMZ Muhney once bragged that he didn’t get the lead role in Scrubs (it went to Zack Braff) because he was just too good looking.
Sources close to the Y&R set have also said that Muhney has a really high sense of self and that his ego has clashed with several of his fellow actors. While the media has just gotten wind of the sexual harassment allegations against Muhoney, it has been common knowledge at CBS for quite awhile. Apparently after groping 19-year old Hunter King she immediately went to the higher ups to complain. While she is technically of age, she was rumored to be disgusted by his behavior behind his wife’s back.
