Tonight’s episode of American Horror Story: Hotel kicks off with Liz Taylor checking an elderly couple in to the hotel. They have been married for 60 years, their lives are content – but the old woman has cancer. Liz can tell that they came to the Cortez to “end it.” The old couple heads in to the hotel room and proceeds to commit suicide together. Liz envies them because they found true love.

Later Liz and Iris are cleaning up the blood, he confesses to her that he doesn’t think he will find love again after Tristan. And, Liz is certain that it is only a matter of time before the Countess slits his throat. Liz prepares to shoot himself and commit suicide with the couple’s gun.

Iris convinces him to wait – he has unfinished business, he has to make amends with this son. Iris says that when he is ready she will commit suicide with him. Her only reason for living was her son Donovan, and she lost him to the Countess.

Liz Taylor is scheming to get his son to the Cortez, he has Mrs. Evers call his son and invite him to stay at the Cortez for a week. Afterwards, Liz confesses to Mrs. Evers that he hasn’t saw his son in over 30 years – he just sends him checks every month.

Mrs. Evers warns Liz that “fairies shouldn’t father children” and his son most likely won’t accept the way he is now – looking like the “ghost of Theda Bara.”

Downstairs in the basement John Lowe is still with Sandy – she is showing him his tokens (body parts) from the ten commandment killings. John sees a jar of ears, he has a flashback and remembers walking in to a church and slaughtering a man and woman for worshipping a false God. Sandy tells John “one more killing and you will be free.”

At the Cortez, Natacha arrives and the Countess greets her. She tells Natacha that they need to talk. Meanwhile, Donovan tracks down Valentino and they begin to bicker over the Countess. Donovan takes out a gun and shoots Valentino in the head and kills him. At the Cortez, the Countess takes out a gun and shoots and kills Natacha.

John finds Mr. March in the basement, March is burning one of the construction workers alive. He tells John that he has big plans for them. Way better than the ten commandment killings. John doesn’t want to talk – he demands to know where Alex is.

March takes John upstairs to Alex. John demands to know why his wife kept their son Holden from him and tried to make him think he was crazy.

Alex admits that she lied about Holden – but John is definitely crazy. Alex says that she wanted to be with Holden forever. John can’t believe that she just turned her back on their other child Scarlett. Alex has more important things to worry about – there is a pack of vampire kids running around town on a murder spree, and she created them.

The Countess told her to fix it, or else she would kill Alex and Holden. John says he will do anything for them – and agrees to help Alex clean up the mess.

Liz’s son Douglas arrives at the hotel and heads to the bar – he orders a drink from Liz. They talk all night, Douglas has no idea that Liz is actually his father. Eventually talk turns to Douglas’s childhood – he explains that his father split when he was little. Liz gets a little emotional, but holds it together.

Alex and John head to the last house where she saw the vampire kids. They slip inside to search for them. The house seems empty, but John hears a noise and heads upstairs. While he is gone upstairs she finds a little girl named Kimmy passed out on the floor and barely breathing. Alex helps the girl and the rest of the kids come out of hiding.

After a brief scuffle, Alex and John are able to convince them to come back to the Cortez where they lock them up in one of the wings of the hotel. Little do they know, the kids aren’t alone – the Countess’s ex-girlfriend is in there too. When she sees the kids she coos, “Mama found appetizers.”

Back at the hotel, the Countess is talking to detectives – she has reported her husband Will Drake missing. She tells the police that something horrible must have happened to him. While she is talking to the police, Will Drake storms in to the room…very much alive.

She is obviously shocked since she had thought that she locked him away for eternity. The cops leave and Will snaps, ‘you murdered me bitch!” The Countess threatens Will’s son if he gets in the way of her and her scheme to own the Cortez. She threatens to make him a “blood relative.” Will storms off to check on his son – to make sure he is still one piece after he was gone for 2 days.

Alex heads back to John’s room and they make love. Lex leaves so that she can check on the kids, before she leaves she tells him that she is definitely “interested in the new John.” Alex leaves and Sally is sitting in the shadows – she is not happy that John slept with his wife. She reminds John that he loves HER and he will never find another one like her.

John throws her on the bed and tries to have sex with her too – but Sally pushes him off. Sally reminds John that Alex will never accept him once she finds out the truth, that he is a serial killer. John leaves and Sally chases after him with a knife – he pushes her to the floor, and hops in the elevator.

At the bar, Liz Taylor has a few drinks with Douglas. Liz is preparing to tell Douglas that he is his father – but Douglas reveals that he already knows who he is. He doesn’t care that he dresses like a woman, he is upset that he walked out on him though. Douglas is open-minded about transgenders because he saw Pedro on ‘Real World.’ He tells Liz that there is plenty of room for another woman in his life.

Over dinner, Countess tells Donovan that Will Drake is dead. She tells Donovan to go down in to the basement and get Will’s body before it “gets too ripe.” Donovan tells the Countess that he will clean up her mess as soon as she cleans up his – he tells her that she shoud text her boyfriend. The Countess rushes to Valentino’s room and finds him dead and begins sobbing.

Liz heads up to Iris’s room – they had a date and are supposed to cmmit suicide together. Liz is having second thoughts now that his son has accepted him. He tells Iris he has a better plan – he wants Iris to help him take over the Cortez in a final blazing act. He tells her that the “best is yet to come.”

Alex takes John down to the kids’ room to see Holden – he runs and jumps in to his dad’s arms. John tells Holden that it is time to go home. John, Alex, and Holden hold hands and leave the Cortez together. As they are leaving Sally screams at the top of her lungs that she is going to kill John.

The Countess finds Donovan in his room, smoking and dancing. She sobs that Donovan killed the man that made her. She scoffs that Donovan destroyed him because she could never be him – and now she has come to kill him.

Donovan says that he is ready to die, because “dying is the only way that she will love him.” While they are sobbing together – Iris and Liz Taylor barge in with guns a blaze and fire dozens of bullets at them.

The End!
