The Duggar family preaches a lot about the Christian ‘values’, but a shocking report from Radar Online confirms that Amy Duggar was actually born out of wedlock. And, weirdly enough, Amy took to Instagram to confirm the news, writing, “Radar was telling the truth. My mom and dad did have me out of wedlock.”
Amy’s parents, Terry Jordan and Deanna Duggar, had her when they were much younger, but Amy – to her credit – tried explaining the situation with minimal excuses. She wrote, “Just because we are Christians doesn’t make us perfect, it just makes us forgiven. Just because I share the Duggar name doesn’t mean my life is perfect!”
Hah! Ok, again, I have to credit Amy Duggar for not lying about this, but I guess she knew that people would end up figuring out the truth anyway. Radar has already reported the rumor a week ago, and plus, the Duggars are never going to pass up an excuse to maximize their publicity – even if it means losing some of their more devout religious followers.
But really, there’s going to have to be a difference in how preachy the Duggars get after this – especially in regards to religious values. If Amy was born out of wedlock, then they have no reason to judge other people for also not following strict Christian ‘values’. I mean, the Duggars really have been in the news for the most ridiculous reasons lately, so I feel like they might be trying to leak all this news themselves to keep the media attention focused on them. Otherwise, does anyone care enough about the Duggar family to leak the news about Amy being borne out of wedlock, especially years after the fact?
