Amy Vachal Voted Off The Voice 2015: Season 9 Episode 25 ‘Live Semi-Final Results’ 12/8/15!

Amy Vachal Voted Off The Voice 2015: Season 9 Episode 25 'Live Semi-Final Results' 12/8/15!
Amy Vachal was just voted off The Voice. The Season 9 competitor has been a unique bird in this competition putting a new twist on classics and newer material. On the semi-finals episode, Amy sang “To Make You Feel My Love” but it was not enough to keep her in it and Amy was eliminated from The Voice.

Back in the blinds, we first saw Amy Vachal score a three chair turn with “Dream a Little Dream.” Her voice has been hypnotic and her arrangements merit-worthy but Amy was almost off the show back in the Knockouts.

Amy was first on Team Pharrell, but then he chose Madi Davis over her in the Knockouts. Fortunately, Adam Levine stepped up and saved her and, since then, Amy has been Team Adam all the way. She’s charted well on iTunes a number of times, as have most of the semi-finals artists.

Last night, Amy landed in the number five slot on iTunes, but that wasn’t quite good enough and she was edged out – as we saw, Amy Vachal was eliminated from The Voice, Season 9 and won’t move on to the finals.

Amy has drawn critical acclaim from the judges for some of her shake ups of modern pop songs including her slowed down, emotional take on ‘N Sync’s “Bye Bye Bye” and Drake’s “Hotline Love.” We’ve seen Adam keep Amy alive as long as he could but it all ended tonight.

One time art student Amy Vachal re-focused her interest in music after a lacrosse injury kept her out of commission for months. After graduating college, Amy transplanted to New York to pursue a career in music before she landed at The Voice Blind’s and scored a spot on the show.

Like many of this season’s artists, Amy brought a one-of-a-kind sensibility to her song stylings that you don’t often hear on the radio these days and that’s compelling to watch. Hopefully, this is the start, rather than the end of her career in music as Amy Vachal is voted off The Voice.
