Bethenny Frankel’s and Jason Hoppy’s divorce has always been contentious, but their custody disagreements have been spiraling out of control recently. According to a new report from Radar Online, Jason called his lawyers after a moving crew showed up without warning at Jason’s apartment and scared their young daughter, Bryn.
Right now, Jason Hoppy is refusing to move out of the apartment he shares with Bryn, especially as his divorce to Bethenny still hasn’t been finalized. However, Radar’s sources explain that things are getting increasingly ugly, adding, “Jason’s attorneys told the judge that Bethenny has bought a new apartment and she was taking her remaining things out of the Tribeca place. The problem was, Bryn was home and the moving crew scared her. She started hysterically crying and Jason was furious so he immediately called his lawyers, who called the judge.”
This whole situation is getting more childish as we speak, don’t you think? Bethenny should have told Jason that she was having the movers come over while Bryn was there, but at the same time, they’re movers – not Satan’s spawn. Bryn started crying because she was scared of the movers, not because she was scared of her mother. Really, both parties have been overreacting over issues like this for a long time, and it’ll be a relief to see their divorce finalized, once and for all – if that even happens, of course.
The judge reportedly called for a hearing next month, but who knows what squabbles Jason and Bethenny will get into by then. At the rate they’re going, they’re likely to tear each other’s throats out before settling on an agreement that suits both of them. Of course, that’s clearly what Jason’s lawyers are for, especially if he’s calling them to complain about Bethenny Frankel hiring movers to come while their daughter was asleep. You’d think that was a capital punishment, the way he reacted to it…
