Beyonce wants to divorce Jay-Z and has wanted to for a long time. Jay-Z’s alleged love child, Rymir Satterthwaite, has been going to everyone who will listen, claiming that he wants Jay-Z to take a paternity test. And even though Jay-Z and Beyonce have been ignoring him for a while now, it’s starting to get a point where they can’t keep ignoring him without drawing even more media attention. Obviously, the quickest thing in this scenario would be to acquiesce to Rymir’s requests and just take the paternity test, right?
Well, Jay-Z is clearly ignoring Rymir for a reason – we just have to figure out what that reason is. Jay-Z and Beyonce might be ignoring Rymir because they don’t want to feed him any more attention and/or set a bad precedent for the future, especially considering how high-profile they are. If they do agree to do Rymir’s paternity test and it turns out that Jay-Z was NOT Rymir’s father, then people will start coming out of the woodwork and demanding the same thing.
However, it’s also possible – less likely, but possible – that Jay-Z really is Rymir’s father, and he doesn’t want people [mainly Beyonce] to find out. In Beyonce’s mind, the perfect image that she’s spent the last ten years cultivating has taken a severe hit over the past year, and she’s not going to stay with Jay-Z if it turns out that he secretly fathered a love child. I mean, we’ve already seen enough evidence to suggest that she can’t get pregnant [cough, pillow baby, cough], but if that’s the case, then it makes sense why Jay-Z’s love child would be making her so angry – it’s serving as a physical reminder of the one thing that she can’t have. And when you’re Beyonce, not getting what you want is a lot more frustrating than it would be for someone like me or you.
