Beyonce Jealous of Jennifer Hudson: Bey Skipped Hudson’s Family Funerals Over ‘Dreamgirls’ Oscar

The feud between Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson is the real deal – according to a shocking new tell-all book. Beyonce is a Queen of the people, that is until the people start to outshine her – then they find themselves on the singer’s hit list. Beyonce and up-and-coming R&B singer Jennifer Hudson co-starred in the wildly successful movie “Dreamgirls” back in 2006, and when Jennifer stole the spotlight and won an Oscar for her performance – Bey was jealous to the point of being livid, and has given her the cold shoulder ever since.

Everyone is buzzing about an explosive new tell-all book that is about to hit stores called “Becoming Beyonce: The Untold Story.” In the memoir, it is revealed that Beyonce was so jealous of Jennifer Hudson’s newfound fame that she actually snubbed the singer’s mother, brother, and nephew’s funeral in 2008. We all remember the tragic day that news broke revealing three members of Hudson’s family had been murdered by her ex-brother in law. Celebs stopped everything to pay their respects to Hudson and attend the service. Well, basically every celeb but Beyonce, which was ironic seeing as how they had just worked together.

According to National Enquirer, an excerpt from the Beyonce tell-all book reveals: “When reporters asked her about Jennifer during press interviews, Beyonce would usually respond by paying her frozen-smiled compliments.” The author, J. Randy Taraborrelli goes on to reveal that not only did Bey not send a card or even acknowledge the heinous murder – but her own husband Jay-Z attended the funeral, and even gave a speech! The fact that Jay-Z made time in his schedule to attend the services, and his own wife didn’t, made it an obvious snub.

Do you think that Beyonce is really that self-absorbed that she would not even support one of her co-stars during such a tragic time because she dared to win an Oscar over her? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
