“Big Brother 17” spoilers are in and as CDL predicted, Vanessa – current Head of Household – nominated Austin as the replacement when John used the Power of Veto to save himself from eviction this week 12. John won the crucial veto competition securing his spot in the final four. Vanessa told Steve that Austin was her target and told Austin that Steve was her target. Fans are left confused to which one of the players she wanted to align with going forward.
After being named as the replacement nominee, Austin worked hard to secure a deal with Johnny Mac. He told John that if he wins Head of Household next week, he will keep him safe for the final three, as long as he votes with Liz to keep him this week. Austin rightly felt nervous about leaving his fate in Vanessa’s hands and wanted to secure the votes without her inference.
Steve sensed that John may have a side deal with Liztin and asked him if Austin approached him. He said, “Yes, and, to be honest, he made a lot of sense.” Steve looked sick hearing the possibility of Johnny Mac voting him out. John said that he hadn’t decided yet who he was voting to evict, but he will let him know beforehand. Steve was left to pace the floor and mutter nonsense all over the house.

The live feeds turned to Steve, who by this time has all but completely lost his mind. He is muttering to himself, “I cannot do this anymore. I am literally sick and it all due to stress. Is this…..game worth all this mental anguish?” He continued to pace through the house, antsy because his life in the game hinged on how his friend Johnny Mac planned to vote in the upcoming eviction.
Steve felt nervous for a good reason, too. When Johnny Mac was voted out a few weeks ago, Steve voted to evict him. Johnny Mac told Austin because he didn’t vote to keep him, he doesn’t feel like he was owed Steve any loyalty, and he is right! John told Austin he was not conflicted at all about who he planned to vote out on the eviction night. He will vote to evict Steve – sending him to join the jury.
The real question is will John turn on Steve becoming the person to send him out of the house? Are John’s chances better aligning with Liztin or evicting Austin and teaming up with Steve and Vanessa. Fans should expect John and Liz to vote Steve out the door, leaving Austin in the house to possibly dash to the finish line.
