“Big Brother 17” spoilers are in and the live feeds is hopping today. At the heels of an emotional episode that CDL recapped for you last night, the house could see a huge shift in power. It looks like the AusTwins may have met their match – and could be on their way out the door – no matter WHO wins Power of Veto. So following James’ eviction, who won the Head of Household competition?
At 9 P.M. BBT, Vanessa told the houseguests it was time for the HoH competition. She was wearing a baseball jacket and hat. It is speculated the theme of the competition was baseball-related. The feeds were cut for over an hour. When they returned, Steve was wearing the Ho Hey around his neck. For the AusTwins, Steve winning the power this week was a worst-case scenario. The twins had agreed before the competition that Steve would be the next target.
Steve has a final two deal with Vanessa- and a final three deal with Johnny Mac. He said last week if he won the power this week he would without hesitation put Austin and Liz. He needed reassurance from the rest of the house that if they won Veto, they would leave the nominations the same. The biggest hurdle was getting Julia on board with the idea. Julia said she is okay with leaving it the same- as long as Austin was the target. She said, “Sorry, not sorry; it’s his time to go.” Over the past few weeks, Julia has distanced herself from Austin and Liz. She has aligned herself with Vanessa. Last week, Vanessa said at some point that when it comes down to it; she wanted to keep Julia over Liz or Austin.
At 2:30 A.M. BBT, John and Steve was talking in the HoH room. They went over all the possible scenarios for this week- to pinpoint a target. John told him that Austin would be the best target for the week. He said, “That way if there is a deal will Vanessa and Austin- it would be dead.” Steve agreed with him- and said, “It’s a done deal.”
It looks like Steve has decided to nominate Austin and Liz for eviction. As added insurance, he made a deal with Julia for her safety. She agrees not to use the Veto if she won and will vote to evict Austin. Liz and Julia agreed that Austin should go on the block because he is the only person in the house that has never been nominated for eviction. Do you think Steve will nominate Austin and Liz today?
