Tonight on ABC Blood & Oil airs with an all new Sunday December 13, season 1 finale called “Departures” and we have your weekly recap and spoilers below. On tonight’s episode, in the Season 1 finale, Billy (Chace Crawford) chooses between his marriage and the oil game; Cody (Rebecca Rittenhouse) is tempted by another man; Annie (Lolita Davidovich) and Hap (Don Johnson) consider teaming up; AJ (Adan Canto) recruits Tip (Delroy Lindo) to help his son; and Hap and Wick (Scott Michael Foster) butt heads at the Briggs Christmas Eve gathering.
On the last episode, with Carla behind bars after taking the fall for the stolen report, Hap was more determined than ever to find the mole at Briggs Oil who put her there. But first, Annie payed Carla an unexpected visit to propose a deal that would give both women what they wanted. Meanwhile, Jules’ brush with death brought both Briggs men rushing to her bedside, providing her with an opportunity to come clean with their secrets.
Despite Billy’s profuse apologies, his lies had pushed Cody over the edge, and Billy feared he may never be able to make things right. Later, Hap and Annie faced off against each other as they prepared to make their biggest play yet. May the best Briggs win. Did you watch last week’s episode? On tonight’s episode as per the ABC synopsis, “Christmas is a time for coming together, but for the Lefevers, it’s a time of difficult choices. Billy faces an ultimatum to either save his marriage by leaving Rock Springs forever or to stay in the oil game alone while Cody experiences temptation in the form of another man.
With the Black Elks land deal slipping away, Annie and Hap consider doing the unthinkable – joining forces to help secure this once-in-a-lifetime oil acquisition. Fearing the fate of his son, AJ enlists Tip to help bring the child to safety. And finally, another father-and-son relationship is pushed to its limits when Hap and Wick finally lay it all out on the table at the Briggs Christmas Eve gathering.”

Tonight’s episode of ‘Blood & Oil’ kicks off with Hap and Annie at the bar – after careful consideration Alex and his mother inform Hap and Annie that they aren’t making a deal with either of them tonight over the oil rights on the reservation – they want to explore all of their options first.
The next day Cody and Jules head to the doctor’s office to see Alex – Jules stole one of Hap’s cups that he drank out of so that she can have a DNA test done on her unborn baby to find out if it is Hap’s child or Wick’s child. Jules takes the envelope outside and says that she needs a moment, Cody flirts with the doctor a bit and then chases after Jules. After they leave the hospital, a woman bribes the nurse for Jules’ medical file – apparently she is working for Carla.
Cody heads home to pack her bag – she is leaving Billy because he was kissing another woman at the bar the night before. Billy begs her to give him one more shot. Cody agrees they can start over if they head back home to Florida. Billy promises to meet her at the bar tomorrow at midnight with the car loaded.
Lacey heads in to her dad’s office, she tells Hap that she has to tell him something important. Before she gets a chance to – AJ barges in to the office and is freaking out. He announces that something has happened, he thinks that the Saudis killed his son.
AJ shows them a video of men rushing in to his house while he was talking to his son on the camera – then the video feed went dead. Hap watches the video and is shocked, he hears a whistle in the background. He says that AJ’s son isn’t in Saudia Arabia – he is being held at one of his rigs. Hap calls the Sheriff and promises AJ that he is going to find him.
Carla visits Jules at her house – she knows that Jules is pregnant with Hap’s baby. Carla tells Jules she will give her double what the bar is worth if she leaves town and never tells Hap about the baby. Jules laughs that she doesn’t want any of Carla’s money. Carla points out that if Hap finds out about the baby he will Jules for custody and win, and never let her see the baby again.
Sherriff Hamilton and his men begin searching houses near the oil rigs – they think they have founds the Saudi’s safe house. AJ rushes there and they find the woman that was holding Khalid dead, she was shot in the head. AJ finds his son Khalid hiding in a closet, they rush him away in an ambulance but he appears to be okay, just shaken up.
Cody stops by the hospital and bumps in to Alex. HE says that he is leaving to work in Haiti and volunteer, he wants Cody to come along with him. Cody sys that she cant because she and Billy are leaving town at midnight. Alex is obviously disappointed.
He pays Billy a visit later and tells him that they are going to give him the oil rights if he stays in town. Billy meets up with Emma and Wick and tells them what Alex told them. He doesn’t know what to do – if he stays and takes the deal, he knows that Cody will leave him.
Meanwhile, Hap is scheming – he has convinced Annie that they should join forces and take the deal together. When Billy learns, he says that it is a cold day in hell before he would work with Hap, and without Billy the deal is null and void.
Billy heads home and starts packing to leave town with Cody. There is a knock at his door – it’s Hap. Hap gives him a speech and tells him that if he leaves town without achieving his dreams and closing the billion dollar deal – it will naw away at him for the rest of his life.
It’s Christmas Eve and everyone heads over to Hap’s house to sign the deal from Chief White Cloud. Billy decides to stay in town and sign the deal, he is certain that once Cody realizes how much money he just made them she will change her mind and stay in town with him. Everyone seems to be getting along – until Hap takes Lacey aside and asks her what she was going to tell him earlier about Wick.
Lacey starts sobbing and Hap realizes that Wick committed the ultimate betrayal and he is the one that help Hap at gun point and robbed the oil rig. Hap heads up to his office and takes a gun out of his safe.
Alex pays Jules a visit at her house late at night, apparently there was a mix up at the lab with the DNA test.
After Alex leaves, Jules calls Carla and tells her that she wants to meet up with her. Carla meets up with Jules and tells her that the money will be in her bank account by the end of the night – Jules promises that she will leave town and never tell Hap about the baby.
Back at Hap’s house – Hap takes Wick outside and says that he wants to talk to him. Hap pulls a gun on his own son and demands to know how he had the nerve to pull a gun on him at the oil rig. Wick confesses that it was him, and then taunts his dad and tells him that he would never shoot him.
Hap tosses the gun on the table and gets choked up. He says that he knows he pushed Wick in to doing what he did, he cries and asks Wick to forgive him so that they and move forward. Wick cries that he forgives his dad and they hug.
In the livingroom – Annie, Hap, and Billy sign an agreement with Chief Whitecloud and they are all co-owners of the reservation’s mineral rights. Lacey heads outside to get Khalid’s blanket – a Saudi Arabian guy grabs her in the dark and puts a gun to her head. She screams for help and Billy comes running to the rescue. While there is a scuffle, Sheriff Hamilton comes out of nowhere and shoots the Saudi Arabian man in the back.
Hap thanks Sheriff Hamilton for saving Lacey from the Saudi Arabian. Billy is safe – but he was knocked out in the scuffle. He wakes up on Hap’s couch and realizes that it is after midnight and he missed meeting up with Cody. He calls Cody’s phone and she didn’t answer.
Billy tells Hap that if Cody is leaving town, he is leaving with her. Hap reveals that he talked to Chief White Cloud and Alex was playing him – he was just using the oil deal to try and get Cody to leave town with him. Hap promises to help Billy find Cody so that they can work it all out.
Jules meets up with Wick in the stable – she reveals that she is pregnant and it is his baby, she gives him a copy of the DNA test. Jules tells Wick that she has enough money (that she basically stole from Carla) for the to all leave town and start over together – Wick agrees to run away with her.
Hap and Billy show up at the bar and Cody is still there, she hasn’t left him yet. Billy says that he is ready to head home with her – and they get on the road.
