Is Bobbi Kristina Brown finally awake? According to Bobby Brown that just may be the case. While we cannot be sure if he meant that she is actually conscious, or just out of her medically-induce coma, Brown made the statement while performing at the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie, Texas, on Sunday April 19.
In the video obtained by TMZ, he tells a cheering crowd, “I can say today, Bobbi is awake. She’s watching me.” The singer swelled up with emotions as he made the announcement to the crowd, who responded with a thunderous cheer and applause.
Unfortunately, with no official word from Bobby Brown’s team, we have no way to decipher his remarks accurately. Some fans believe that Bobby Brown meant exactly what he said, that his 22-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, has been brought out of her coma and has regained her consciousness. Some took it a step further, perceiving the comments in a way that meant Bobbi Kristina was actually watching her dad’s concert from Atlanta. Still others are taking Brown’s words spiritually, saying that the singer was speaking in a figurative way, as opposed to being so literal.
Sources have said that Brown and the entire family are praying for a miracle. To them, they still see Bobbi Kristina as being alive, even though she is currently being sustained via life support. Due to this, it is easy to see how Brown’s remarks can easily be misinterpreted. It is possible that he meant Bobbi Kristina is with him in spirit.
Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically induced coma for about 4 months now, and there has been little to no progress made on bringing her out of the coma successfully. Until we hear from Brown’s reps, we have to take his comments lightly, and cannot be sure what he meant.
