Unfortunately, this also means that she might never be able to speak again…
Radar’s sources explain, “The doctors removed her breathing tube Tuesday because there were complications with it. They had to then do a tracheotomy and put a tube in that way. She is still alive. Everyone is praying for her. She is young and she is strong. At the same time, everybody knows that she remains in a critical conditions. But there is no talk at this point about ‘pulling the plug.’”
It’s starting to look as though both the doctors and Bobbi’s family are willing to put her on long-term life support, especially if they’re willing to risk her never speaking again. The chances of Bobbi waking up at this point are next to nil, but performing a tracheotomy shows that they’re willing to try anything. Yes, Bobbi waking up and not being able to speak again remains a significant risk, but isn’t that better than her never waking up at all?

The longer someone remains on life support, the more complications arise from the situation.
