Bobbi Kristina Brown, 21, Whitney Houston’s daughter was found unconscious face down in her bathtub 10:30am on Saturday. Her husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend found his wife unresponsive in the bathtub. They immediately called 911 before starting CPR. When the paramedics arrived at their Georgia home, they rushed Brown to nearby North Fulton hospital. The Roswell Police department issued a statement covering the general details of the incident, but the case remains under investigation. However, Brown is said to be breathing again at this point. Police obtained a warrant to search for drugs since a drug overdose is suspected. We will have an update for you shortly.
Bobbi Brown is the daughter of the late Whitney Houston, who was found in a similar state almost three years ago. The singer died of a drug overdose on February 11, 2012, just days before the Grammys ceremony. Houston’s daughter no doubt took the news hard and it appears she’s battling the same demons as her mother. The circumstances surrounding Brown’s close call are remarkably similar to the ones surrounding Houston’s death. Doctors are hopeful that Brown will recover and get her life back on track. She appears to be stable at this point, but we’ll keep you posted on her condition.
