The fact that Bobbi Kristina Brown was apparently a drug abuser like her mother, Whitney Houston, in no way exonerates Nick Gordon in the ongoing criminal investigation.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, has shown few signs of improvement since being found unresponsive in her bathtub. Now it seems the Brown and Houston families are preparing for the 21-year-old woman’s long-term care. Bobbi Kristina’s breathing tube has been removed and replaced with a tracheostomy tube. A source close to the Brown family revealed that a tracheotomy procedure, which creates the tracheostomy hole, was performed, but the Browns have not changed their minds about keeping Bobbi Kristina on life support. Bobby Brown wants to keep Bobbi Kristina alive by any means necessary.
A specialist who confirmed that a tracheotomy is typically performed when the patient will need the assistance of a ventilator for more than just a few days. Bobbi Kristina hasn’t been breathing on her own since she was taken to the hospital on January 31. The procedure was necessary to prevent infections and keep fluid from accumulating inside her lungs. If Bobbi Kristina recovers from her incident, the aspiring singer’s vocal cords won’t be affected. However, the likelihood of that recovery seems to be diminishing with each passing day.
TMZ reports that Bobby Brown’s wife, Alicia Etheridge, recently spoke about holding on to hope for Bobbi Kristina. Alicia wouldn’t discuss Bobbi Kristina’s condition, but she said that the Browns are focusing on prayer during this difficult time. The Brown and Houston families need a miracle and they’re not giving up despite the grim outlook.
Alicia Etheridge also indicated that the Browns still have no desire to let Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, anywhere near her room. Nick’s attorney made a statement that expressed his wish to see Bobbi Kristina, but it’s doubtful that the Browns will lift their ban any time soon. The suspicious injuries on Bobbi Kristina’s body, including bruises on her chest and a bloodied mouth, have made Nick Gordon the target of a criminal investigation.
