Bobbi Kristina Brown is currently lying in a Georgia hospital on life-support, and her status is deteriorating, her organs are failing, after she was found unresponsive face down in a bath tub in her home on January 31st. While Bobbi Kristina Brown’s life remains hanging in the balance, so does her $20 Million inheritance from her mother Whitney Houston, who was also found unresponsive in a bath tub in 2012.
Since the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was rushed to a Georgia hospital, a massive war has erupted between the Houston Family, Brown Family, and Bobbi’s alleged husband Nick Gordon.
According to the February 23rd edition of GLOBE Magazine, “The Houstons feared that if Krissi died, Gordon would claim the fortune as her next of kin. Tensions have been mounting for years between the family and Nick. Now the family is determined to see that Nick won’t get his hands on Krissi’s inheritance, estimated to be as much as $20 Million.” GLOBE Magazine goes on to reveal that the Houstons have gone as far as to hire a private investigator to try and prove that Krissi and Nick Gordon never actually married, despite the fact that both of them announced publicly that they has a secret wedding and lived for years as husband and wife.
Nick Gordon and Bobbi Kristina’s family on her mother’s side are not the only ones concerned about the $20 Million inheritance though – Krissi’s father Bobby Brown is also set to receive a large chunk of the cash, and Bobby Kristina’s grandmother Cissy Houston is furious about it. According to GLOBE the Magazine, “Whitney left everything to her daughter in a trust. But, upon Bobbi Kristina’s death the trust is to be paid in equal shares to Cissy, Bobby Brown, and Whitney’s brothers Michael and Gary.”
