Bobbi Kristina Brown is on life support desperately fighting for her young life while her mercenary family use the opportunity to film a reality TV show, give interviews, make fools of themselves on social media and generally behave like vile famewhores. It seems the latest media circus for the Brown family is really just more of a side show. Rumors had been swirling that some of Bobby Brown’s family members would be filming a reality show that included Bobbi Kristina Brown’s fight for her life. However, Bobby Brown’s lawyer, Christopher Brown, recently made a statement to clarify the situation.
Bobby Brown says he won’t be a part of any reality show and neither will Bobbi Kristina Brown. Emory University Hospital, where Bobbi Kristina is currently being treated, will also be off limits. A family source says Bobby is “not happy” about the show moving forward. Still, it appears the production is in its early stages and Bobby Brown’s siblings along with a few nieces and nephews are set to share footage of how they’re coping with Bobbi Kristina’s deteriorating health. It seems likely that Browns won’t shy away from sharing details about Bobbi Kristina’s condition despite the fact that Bobby Brown continually requests privacy. Apparently, many of the Browns and Houstons didn’t get that memo since they’ve given a multitude of interviews and TV appearances.
According to People, a source close to the family says the Browns have been talking about doing a reality show for a long time. However, after Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a tubful of water at her Georgia home, the Browns really started to take the idea seriously. As the media attention increased, some Brown family members decided to take advantage of their 15 minutes of fame. Their time in the spotlight helped them secure a production deal and the pilot will be shopped around to various networks. If the show does get picked up, some people might be curious, but most will probably just take bets on when it’ll get cancelled.
Now that Bobby Brown has clarified realty show issue, there’s reportedly a more important matter he’s sorting out. According to The Latin Post, the Browns and Houstons are split on whether or not to take Bobbi Kristina off life support and the feud is building with each passing day. A family source notes that “It is really on Bobby Brown’s shoulders to let her go in peace.” The source adds that “It is something the Brown and Houston [families] had agreed to do as early as Febuary 11…” but Bobby Brown backed out. Bobbi Kristina’s mother, the late Whitney Houston, left a $20 million inheritance and it’s possible that the money is why the Houstons want to pull the plug. So far Bobby Brown remains adamant that he’ll keep Bobbi Kristina alive by any means necessary.
