Bobbi Kristina Brown’s drowning incident has a new development. A neighbor has reported that Bobbi Kristina Brown was secretly cheating on Nick Gordon before being found face down in her bathtub on January 31. Did the love triangle contribute to the drowning incident?
Nick Gordon has been the focus of Bobbi Kristina’s criminal drowning investigation. Police have been investigating Bobbi’s pseudo-brother turned alleged husband since the arrived on the scene. According to Bobbi’s aunt, Leolah Brown, Nick Gordon is under investigation for the attempted murder of Bobbi Kristina Brown. Leolah posted a statement via Facebook stating that they “have strong evidence of foul play.”
News shared by Bobbi Kristina’s friend and neighbor, Debra Reis Brooks, claims Bobbi was “close to another man” before being found unconscious in the bath tub. Brooks states that Nick found out about the other man and a possible “sex romp,” and went into a jealous rage. Bobbi and Nick are no stranger to domestic abuse rumors, so sadly, this isn’t surprising.
The night before Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious, Radar reports Bobbi and Nick “had a fight around 12:30 a.m.” which caused Nick to leave with Max. Debra then claims, “Nick and Max left and went out — that’s supposedly when this other guy came over to Krissi’s.” The friend goes on to state, “There was some discussion of some guy who came over and [he and Bobbi Kristina] fooled around — that’s what Nick said!”
Around 3 a.m. Bobbi Kristina posted a selfie with Duane Tyrone Hall. Could Duane be “the other man” in this supposed love triangle? It’s possible. It’s also possible nothing was going on besides friendship and Nick’s jealousy started a fight. Gordon and Hall were friends on some level. Radar reports the two were named in a police report filed February 2 for a lane violation during a traffic stop and Duane’s name was also linked with another police reported filed January 14th in conjunction with drug charges and Max Lomas.
Nick Gordon has been shady since the start of the Bobbi Kristina Brown saga. Police noted injuries including bruises and marks around her mouth. Gordon countered that the bruising and marks are from his attempt at performing CPR, but that doesn’t really explain the marks around her mouth.
Max Lomas, who was in the house before Kristina was “found,” noted Nick was acting very strangely. Max arrived at Bobbi’s house around 9 a.m. on January 31. Gordon told Lomas Bobbi Kristina was in her bedroom. Lomas believed him, and didn’t question him any further.
Nick then wandered away through the house, but Max says he wasn’t paying attention to what Gordon was doing. A cable man arrived shortly after 10 a.m. and Max let him, as Nick was “nowhere to be seen.” The cable guy the need access to the bedroom, and let him to find Bobbi Kristina face down in the bath tub. After hearing Max calling for him, Nick then reportedly ran in to perform CPR. Even more concerning, Nick allegedly cleaned up the house and removed blood stains before help arrived, according to TMZ.
