It’s been over a month since Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, was found face-down in a tubful of water, but not much has changed for the 21-year-old. Bobbi Kristina Brown is still unresponsive and the latest reports indicate that the outlook is bleak. According to reports, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, seems to think otherwise. Nick recently went on a Twitter rant against Bobby Brown, the media and anyone else he might consider to be a hater. Nick kicked things off with a tweet that said “F*ck everyone that says I didn’t try my hardest to protect WH and BK.”
Apparently, Nick Gordon thinks doing drugs and surrounding Bobbi Kristina with junkie friends was a form of protection. Bobbi Kristina reportedly used a variety of drugs, including cocaine, heroin and Xanax, in the months leading up to her incident. It seems Nick Gordon indulged right along with her. Reports say that police were often called to the couple’s home because of noise complaints and officials have said “They’re always high.” While Bobbi Kristina was responsible for her own choices, Nick really doesn’t have the right to act like he was doing his girlfriend any favors. And note that it is girlfriend, not wife. Nick tweeted “Our last name is Gordon,” but Bobby Brown’s lawyer recently stated that Nick and Bobbi Kristina have never been legally married.
Nick Gordon also commented on Bobbi Kristina’s condition in his tweeting spree. One tweet said that Nick’s “baby is getting some much needed rest, all vital signs good.” Nick then added “I gave her cpr for 10 mins she has my lungs now!” It’s tough to believe that Nick Gordon knows anything at all about Bobbi Kristina’s current status. Bobby Brown has banned Nick from the hospital until Nick meets certain demands. One of those requirements is cooperating in the criminal investigation into Bobbi Kristina’s incident, which the Browns say Nick has failed to do. Nick, however, tells a different story. In a separate Twitter rant last week, Nick blasted Bobby Brown for telling the media that he hadn’t talked to police. Nick said he’d “talked to the cops no lawyer” and used the hashtag “#dontfabricate.”
Many have questioned Nick Gordon’s motives for the blitz on social media. Nick’s shady behavior the morning Bobbi Kristina was found and Bobbi Kristina’s suspicious injuries have made him a prime target in the criminal investigation. Perhaps Nick thinks gaining public sympathy will help him beat murder charges later on. Then again, maybe Nick just likes attention. The Browns and Houstons have certainly enjoyed their fair share of media hogging throughout all of this. From doing TV interviews to filming a reality show, the Brown and Houston families seem to have no problem with letting the cameras capture their lives as Bobbi Kristina’s life hangs in the balance.
