Cissy Houston is speaking out on her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition, and reiterating that her condition has not improved, and that she is ready to accept the death of her granddaughter if it comes to that, contrary to Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, who will thankfully holds out hope and will keep his daughter alive at all costs. Of course Cissy Houston and the rest of the Houston family are NOT willing to let go of Bobbi’s $20 Million Inheritance, and they can only collect if Bobbi Kristina Brown dies.
In a statement to Entertainment Tonight, Cissy says that she is ready for Bobbi Kristina Brown to pass away if it is her time. Cissy Houston says, “She’s not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I’m ready for her. O have nothing to do with that. That’s His job. It’s His territory, you know? And I understand it.”
Bobby Brown, on the other hand, has made it very clear that he will do everything in his power to keep his daughter alive. He has gone as far as to say that he will request that the doctors use heroic measures if she begins to slip further away. Bobby Brown is fighting to keep his daughter alive, and this is causing tension between him and Cissy Houston.
22-year-old Bobbi Kristina, the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has been hospitalized for three months now, and a source close to the family tells ET that the doctors have told the entire family that Bobbi Kristina suffers from irreversible brain damage, and that there nothing that can be done to better he condition.
On Friday, May 8, it was announced that Bobby Brown and Pat Houston, Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law, were appointed as co-guardians of Bobby Kristina and Cissy Houston supports this decision. She tells ET, “we’re a family that works together for the best.”
Despite her statements, it is clear that she has a different opinion of what to do with Bobbi Kristina, and the tension between the family is undeniable. The two families have had differences from the very beginning of Bobbi Kristina’s hospitalization, and it does not look like they are any closer to resolving their conflict.
Unfortunately, if Bobbi Kristina’s condition begins to worsen, and the family cannot reach an agreement, it may be left in the hands of a judge to determine what to do with Bobbi Kristina Brown.
