Bobby Brown left Bobbi Kristina Brown in the care of her dedicated and trusted hospital team, in order to make an appearance at the Soul Food festival, which will be held at Exposition Park in downtown Los Angeles April 11. It appeared that Bobby had an obligation to attend the festival, and the decision to attend or be at his daughter’s bedside was out of his hands. Seriously, Bobbi Kristina is on life support and her father needs to go play with barbecue sauce?
TMZ sources confirmed that the deal to appear at the festival was finalized long before Bobbi Kristina Brown was initially admitted into hospital back on January 31, in early 2015, and the goal was to ultimately promote Bobby Brown’s barbeque sauce line of products. Other acts who were slated to perform at the Soul Food festival, included El Debarge, Stephanie Mills, and the very spicy nineties all girl rap group Salt-N-Pepa.
Unfortunately, it now appears that Bobby Brown will face a similar situation soon of having to leave Bobbi Kristina, due to an impending mini-tour in Australia. According to an official flyer which was posted back in March, sources have also confirmed that Bobby Brown will be headlining three shows down-under “with Treach and Kay Gee of Naughty by Nature at the end of May.”
Brown also allegedly expressed a sense of wanting to be available for Bobbi Kristina instead of having to perform overseas. It appears that since Bobby Brown recently postponed the aforementioned pre-scheduled dates, the promoters are now adamant that he stays loyal to the make-up dates for his pre-arranged contractual obligations.
Along with the many accolades that Bobby Brown has acquired over the years, he can also now include owner of a barbecue sauce line to his repertoire. “Bobby Brown Foods” currently boasts products which include barbecue sauces, seasonings and accessories. The official names include catchy product labels such as “Double-Down Sauce Pack, “Brown Bag’n It Fry Mix,” “Spice Pack,” and “The Everything Pack.”

Update: Bobby Brown is officially acting like the bad parent he always was – TMZ reports that after flying from Atlanta to LA dear old dad partied at Paoli’s Pizzeria and Piano Bar in Woodland Hills, CA on Friday night. “Sources in the bar tell TMZ it looked like he was having a guys’ night out — with about 7 or 8 friends — from 9 PM until about midnight.”
Let’s remember that Bobbi’s mother Whitney Houston and her father were both hard core drug addicts who smoked crack around their little girl. Never mind that Bobby has put on this big guilt act since his daughter drowned in the bathtub.
