Why did Britt Nilsson and Brady Toops break up? When Britt Nilsson was voted off from The Bachelorette during the Season 11 premiere, a lot of fans were sad to see her go – including suitor Brady Toops. Brady made a grand gesture and quit The Bachelorette, and left Kaitlyn Bristowe, so that he could date Britt Nilsson. Over the course of Season 11 there were updates on Britt and Brady, and they seemed like the picture perfect couple. However, earlier this month, Britt and Brady confirmed that they had broken up and called it quits.
Bachelorette fans were baffled by Britt Nillson and Brady’s breakup because they seemed like the perfect couple. Everyone was dying to see Brady on The Bachelorette: Men Tell All episode so that he could explain why their relationship fell apart. Sadly, Brady was a no-show and the break-up remained a mystery. Until now that is. Brady took to Instagram on July 21 and finally opened up about his and Britt’s breakup, and frankly we are still just as confused as ever.
Brady Toops revealed, “1. We had no real celebrity couple mashup name.. Britt(y), Brad(itt). See, there was almost no chance. This was probably the beginning of the end when we realized this,” Toops joked. “2. Britt is afraid of heights, and not only am I afraid of heights, but I’m actually afraid of her being afraid of heights. That obviously couldn’t work. 3. Once we left the show, they didn’t give us any roses. How are we suppose to figure this thing out without any roses? [for you haters out there, I did actually buy her flowers..]4. Apparently I needed some more inspiration for my next record, because we all know that break-up records are the records you can’t stop listening to (ex. Sam Smith – “In the Lonely Hour”, Adele – “21”, Coldplay – “Ghost Stories”). Stay tuned. Anyway, I hope this helps. Even though it’s sad that Britt & I are no longer together, I want to thank everyone for all the love & support you’ve shown us. She’s a special girl and deserves nothing but the best. Brady Toops’ rambling Instagram post really didn’t clear up too much of the confusion about his and Britt’s breakup, but it did make one thing clear – they definitely split on amicable terms.
