Bruce Jenner was living in la la land if he thought that he would get away scot-free after the fatal car crash last month. Sure, he put a ‘halt’ to his sex change at the time, but according to sources, he’s already recovering from a breast implant surgery and is planning to carry through his gender reassignment surgery in the next few months. But alas, if this legal situation doesn’t get any better for him, he might have to wait longer than a few months to complete his sex change. According to TMZ, the car crash victim’s [Kim Howe] stepchildren are suing Bruce Jenner in a wrongful death lawsuit, and odds are, they’ll get at least some money from this.
Now, TMZ’s sources have added that these stepchildren had almost no relationship to their mother, so it’s a clear case of money grubbing and money mongering. But as we all know, Kim Howe died after a direct impact from Bruce Jenner’s vehicle sent her Lexus into incoming traffic, which then led to her death. And considering that Kim reportedly doesn’t have any direct relatives, it’s possible that these kids just want justice for their stepmother. Granted, both stepchildren have reportedly been ordered to try and find pictures showing themselves with Kim, since they have to establish SOME semblance of a relationship to earn damages from the lawsuit. Although both stepchildren have a legal right to file this lawsuit, actually winning the case will be somewhat dependent on showing that they had some relationship to their stepmother – even though they were technically estranged.
Of course, the stepchildren know that they’re not going to be inheriting Kim’s property, so this is really the only thing where they can conceivably make any money – and it’s at the expense of their mother’s death. However, Bruce Jenner should also not be able to get away scot-free in this situation, since whichever way you slice it, it was his fault that Kim Howe died.
