Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, has made her big debut on the cover of Vanity Fair – and completely upstaged Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy! Rumors have been floating around the internet for weeks now that Jenner would appear on the July cover of Vanity Fair. This big reveal comes not long after Jenner came out as transgender in an interview with Diane Sawyer. Kim Kardashian tried to steal Jenner’s thunder by making a last-minute decision to announce her pregnancy on a teaser clip of Keeping Up With The Kardashians on Sunday, May 31, but as soon as Jenner’s cover hit the internet, Kim’s pregnancy was old news.
Although Kim Kardashian has made a pathetic attempt to appear supportive of Jenner’s decision to transition, behind closed doors she and her momager Kris Jenner are fuming over all of the attention Caitlyn’s receiving. Not only is she stealing their spotlight, but she did so after the divorce from Kris Jenner was official – so they aren’t making any money off the attention received from this news.
The Vanity Fair cover, where Caitlyn makes her grand debut in a white outfit, was set to be released on June 1. So Kim and Kris decided to announce on Sunday, May 31 that Kim Kardashian was finally pregnant with baby number two in an attempt to overshadow Caitlyn’s cover. However, their plan totally backfired – apparently, no one cares about Kimye’s baby, and Caitlyn’s cover is breaking the internet harder than Kim Kardashian ever has.
The best thing about Caitlyn’s debut is definitely her choice of name. It’s an official “screw you” to Kris and Kim. Of all the names in the American language to choose from, the name “Caitlyn” was chosen and she chose to spell it with a “C” instead of a “K” – to separate herself from the Kardashian Family. There is no doubt in our minds right now that heads are rolling at the Kardashian house – and Kris Jenner is livid by the media’s response to Caitlyn’s debut. There is a new diva in town! Kim Kardashian…who?
