Is Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, joining the cast of the TV show American Horror Story: Hotel? AHS fans are still rejoicing from the recent announcement that Lady Gaga will be appearing in the next season, but she may not be the only uber celebrity in the line-up. According to multiple reports, Ryan Murphy is interested in casting Caitlyn Jenner to star in the TV show as well!
When Caitlyn Jenner’s Vogue cover hit the internet last month, there were instantly thousands of memes flooding social media comparing the recently transitioned Caitlyn to American Horror Story star Jessica Lange. Ironically, Jessica has opted to leave the popular primetime drama – and the show’s producer Ryan Murphy wants Caitlyn to replace her. They’re practically twins so it seems legit.
According to Naughty Gossip’s inside sources, “Ryan loves what Caitlyn Jenner represents – both inside and out. He is a big fan of what she stands for and wants to bring part of that story to the small screen. He would write in Caitlyn for a few episode arc and make the story really meaningful.” Can Caitlyn Jenner act though – that’s the real question?
At the end of the day we’re not going to get too excited about the possibility of Caitlyn joining American Horror Story; right now she is one of the most sought-after celebrities in Hollywood – and let’s be real, there is no way they can afford to pay Lady Gaga’s salary AND Caitlyn Jenner’s. Besides, she has reportedly turned into a total diva since her transformation. Ryan Murphy might be seriously reconsidering casting her after he sees her list of demands.
