Tonight on ABC Celebrity Wife Swap returns again with an all new Wednesday June 24 season 4 Episode 6. On tonight’s episode, Vince Neil and Gunnar Nelson swap lives.
On the last episode, Charo and Jill Whelan swapped lives, Charo, is a Spanish-American actress, comedian, and flamenco guitarist. She is best known for her flamboyant stage presence, her provocative outfits, and her trademark phrase, “cuchi-cuchi”. She is best known for her role as Vicki Stubing, the daughter of Capt. On tonight’s episode per the ABC synopsis “Vince Neil and Gunnar Nelson will be swapping lives, Vince Neil is an American vocalist and musician, best known as the lead vocalist of heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. Gunnar Nelson is also a singer, but he’s also songwriter international multi-platinum recording artist.”

RECAP:
#CelebWifeSwap tonight features two rocker Gunnar Nelson and Vince Neil. Gunnar Nelson is one of the Nelson twins and says his first album was ten times platinum and says his family has been famous for over 100 years. He says his dad was top selling artist Ricky Nelson and says being a rock guy is fun. He says it didn’t fulfill him and he was 45, the age his dad died in a plane crash. He says he fled LA for Nashville and met his life Lila at one of his shows.
They’ve been together two years and married six months. They have three daughters from Lila’s first marriage. The girls’ father died not long before they met. The girls all call him Pop and say he’s an amazing dad. He says it’s hard seeing guys look at his daughters and says he has the best woman on planet Earth. Vince Neil talks about breaking rules – he’s with Motley Crue and they’ve won awards, sold a ton of albums and have a star on the walk of fame.
He moved to Vegas from LA in 1995. He owns a restaurant, football team and has other interests. His girlfriend Rain has been with him for four years and he’s 20 years older than her. She says she never dated a rock star before like him. They have a dog Callie who is like their child. He says when he’s home he likes to hang out. They go out a lot and hang out with friends. Rain says you can never be underdressed and says she wants to spend the rest of her life with him.
Vince says whoever comes should embrace their lifestyle. On the morning of the swap, they pack. Vince is nervous because he’s set in his ways and doesn’t like change. Lila is shocked by Vegas and Rain says Vince would never live out here in Nashville. Lila gets out and says it looks like car barn. Both ladies get to check out the house alone first. Rain loves the kitchen and sees lots of ice cream so there must be kids.
Lila loves their little dog Callie and carries it around. She spots a lot of alcohol and then Rain sees construction stuff and says Vince would freak out. Lila says whoever lives here lives large. Rain spots one messy bedroom and then says she has no experience with kids. Lila says the woman looks like a model. Rain spots a photo and says it’s one of the Nelson twins. Then Lila sees a wall of guitars then sees all the gold records and says it’s Vince Neil.
She says she hopes his wife isn’t a groupie. Then they read the home’s manual. Lila reads that Vince has been married four times and she hopes Vince puts a ring on it soon. Then Rain reads about their marriage. Then Lila reads that Vince has a daughter two years in age away from Rain. Rain reads that they like to DIY their house and Lila reads that the dog has to be hand fed. Then it’s time to meet the celebrity husbands.
Lila tells Vince she’s his wife Lila. She says she’s married to Gunnar Nelson and asks how he is. He says it’s cool and then says it’s time to go have fun. In Nashville, Gunnar comes home with the girls and they introduce themselves. She says her name is Rainbow and Gunnar asks if she’s Vince Neil’s GF. Caitlyn likes the way Rain is dressed. Gunnar says it’s different in Nashville. Vince takes Lila away to the casino for some fun. They have the dog in the stroller with them.
Vince says he likes to gamble and has lost $200k on one roll before. Lila is appalled by how much money he’s betting. He loses and she’s horrified and wants to stop. She thinks he needs to be less wild. In Nashville, Gunnar takes them all out to Brad Whitford’s house for a BBQ – he’s the guitarist for Aerosmith. The girls talk about how much they liked Gunnar from the start. Rain says it’s really special and says he knows this is not her cup of tea. Gunnar and Brad play guitar by the fire.
Rain says it’s cold and the smoke is heavy and says it’s not glamorous and is like fishing where you just stare. Vince takes Lila out to dinner with Robin Leach, Vince’s daughter Elle and some other hot ladies. Lila asks Elle what it was like growing up with Vince and Elle asks before or after the sex tape. She says she doesn’t have a basis for normal since he’s her dad and always has been. Lila says he’s a rock star but Gunnar doesn’t like to live on the edge.
Vince asks Lila if she has a sex tape and she says not on the internet. The Nelsons wake and have to get the girls ready for school. Gunnar cooks breakfast while Rain makes lunches. Caitlyn comes in wearing short shorts and Gunnar says to go put on something twice as long. Rain says she had a lot of freedom growing up. Vince sleeps in while Lila hand feeds Callie. Then the pet psychic shows up to see Callie and Lila thinks this whole thing is a waste of money.
Gunnar takes Rain out for a drive in his classic GTO. Rain tells him she wants to get married but doesn’t think Vince is ready. Gunnar says Rain is smoking hot and says Vince needs to take better care of her. In Vegas, Vince, Lyla and Callie go hang by the pool. The hot chicks all seem to know Vince and Lila thinks he’s getting too much attention. She says Gunnar sends girls away and then Lila sends the girls away but Vince says who doesn’t love beautiful women.
Lila asks Vince about committing to Rain but he says it’s not the right time. Lila says she hopes they’re happy. He says he’s been married four time and it’s been awesome with Rain but he doesn’t want to change his life. Gunnar then works on the house and says you have an emotional attachment when you do it yourself. He shows her how to hang drywall. He says his parents were always doing their own thing so he wants to be a great father.
Rain says he’s old fashioned. He says Caitlyn brought a guy home who called him dude and he kicked him out. Rain says he’s like a shotgun dad. Vince takes Lila out to his indoor football team arena. He says he goes to all the practices then he says he’ll take the whole team out for drinks. The girls get home from school so Rain hands with the kids while Gunnar plays in his studio. Caitlyn says most people are very intimidated by him.
She says her Pop doesn’t want her to look like a baby hooker when she goes out. Caitlyn says she would like to wear what she wants and says she wishes he would trust her a little more. They are now at Vince’s bar and restaurant in Vegas. One woman asks Vince to sign her boobs. Lila says the women are all over him. Then the drinking starts. Vince says they always have a good time except when they’re hung over and throwing up. He toasts to his new wife. Lila thinks Vince needs to calm down and take some responsibility.
Now it’s the morning of the rules change. Rain says Gunnar needs to live more like a rock star. Lila wants to see less partying and more back to basics. Rain gathers the Nelsons to talk to them and Lila sits Vince down. Rain says he needs to trust the girls and let them live a little and make their own decisions. She says first is a shopping spree for the girls. Rain says he can’t tell Caitlyn no. Lila tells Vince they’re going to go grocery shopping and cook a meal.
Vince says he doesn’t cook and she says she’ll teach him. Rain says they have to get out of the house and he needs to stop living like a hermit soccer dad. She says they’re going out on the town in style and get noticed. Lila says Callie is his daughter and he needs to be hands on and he will take care of her. Rain tells Gunnar he needs to be a rock star and they’re going to put his long hair on and he will perform. Gunnar says he takes what he does seriously and says it won’t happen.
The girls tell Pop they have to do it. He says he doesn’t know why she wants to mess with his hair but he says he won’t be a parody. Lila says they are going to relax and bond. She says they’ll start with a walk. Lila takes Vince to the grocery store. He asks what they’re cooking and she says meatloaf which he say she loves. Vince says he ate at a hotel every night on tour. She’s surprised he doesn’t know his way around a grocery store.
Rain takes the girls shopping without Gunnar’s input. Gunnar starts to freak out over the clothes but the girls are thrilled. Rain says it’s hot and Gunnar says she looks like she’s 25. He says Nashville is low key and she’s just 14. Vince is outside with Callie and says he’s never picked up dog poop before. Then she takes him out for a walk and she says he should bring Rain out here. He says Rain has been there good and bad and Lila says it’s important he tell her she’s number one.
He says he takes Rain for granted and needs to change some and let her know he loves her. Rain has the Nelsons dressing up for a rock star day out. He comes out wearing leather and the girls think he looks amazing but he refuses the wig. He says they can go party and they head out. Lila invited Elle over to help Vince cook dinner. Lila says they will supervise but he has to do it. Vince has no clue where the pots and pans are.
Both the women are worried about him and the knife and his fingers. Elle says she likes Lila and says cooking is bonding. She says she’s happy to learn to cook and Vince says he likes that Lila is pulling him out his comfort zone. Gunnar and the girls go out and Rain has a surprise for him. They head to First Tennessee Park and they are taken backstage and Rain says he’s in for a huge surprise. She says he’s singing the national anthem.
Gunnar says it’s tough and he’s nervous. The girls wish him luck and go stand at the side. Then a ton of fans come up and ask for selfies and he says he loves the fans. Rain says look at you rockstar. Gunnar says this is a gift Rain has given their family. Vince invited friends over to eat his meatloaf. Robin Leach is shocked that he’s cooking. Vince says he’s used to having things catered and is nervous. Robin says it tastes really good. Lila says she’s proud of him.
Vince says Rain wouldn’t believe it. Even the dog likes it. Rain also has the girls set up to have some fun with some friends for school while she and Gunnar sit in the next booth. Rain tells him to stay and let the girls know he trusts them and says they’re good kids and if they have a problem they’ll come to him. He says Rain is right and they toast to their last night together. The swap is done and they pack for him. Lila wants to sneak the dog home with her. The couples leave to meet up.
Gunnar say she’s nervous about Lila partying with Vince. Gunnar runs to hug Lila and Rain is disappointed he didn’t bring Callie. The couples sit down and Rain says Gunnar is a big rock star and she found a low key wholesome home. Vince says he’s shocked. Gunnar says he likes it that way. Rain says they all dressed up and she let the girls wear what they wanted and says they are good girls and they should trust them to make good decisions.
She says Gunnar let her wear Daisy Dukes. Gunnar says they’re all about balance. Lila says Vince is pulled all over and has a lot of distractions. She says Gunnar has that happen but Gunnar is always right back to her. Lila says she didn’t like being surrounded by all the bikini clad women. Lila is shocked and he says it was just the swimming place and Rain gets upset he let other women pet her dog, their child and asks if that was his pick up line.
Lila tells her she had Callie most of the time. She says she and Vince went grocery shopping. Rain is shocked. Then Lila says they cooked meatload and Vince says it was pretty cool. Rain is shocked and Lila says he did a great job. Rain says she took Gunnar out to the stadium and he sang the national anthem. He says it was tough but exhilarating. Gunnar says they need balance and Lila says the spice things up sometimes. Rain says as long as you have respect, honesty and love things are good.
Vince says he doesn’t express himself like he should and tells Rain he loves her and doesn’t tell her enough. He says he wants to show her more attention and says he’ll always love her. He says he got her this and has a little box and says he wants them to know they’ll always be together. It’s an engagement ring. She and Vince both hug and cry and Rain says flashy things are great even though you don’t take them with you. They hug and kiss and swap more I love you’s. Lila and Gunnar tear up too.
The women return home and Gunnar says he’s so happy Lila is home. Six weeks later, Vince is on the Motley Crue farewell your but is still living like a rocker. Gunnar and Lila re living quietly but the girls are enjoying some flashier clothes.
