The Voice coach Christina Aguilera is a total diva on the set of the NBC singing coach – and the cast and crew are reportedly dreading her return next season, according to a new report from OK! Magazine.
This isn’t the first time that Christina has been accused of having over the top diva demands, and it probably won’t be the last. There’s a slight hitch with OK! Magazine’s story though, if Christina is such a horrible person to work with, then why did they just invite her back for another season?
NBC just confirmed that after this season, Gwen Stefani is OUT, and Christina Aguilera is returning to The Voice. But, according to OK! Magazine, Christina is a total diva and nobody wants to work with her. An insider on the set of The Voice dished to the tabloid, “She made outrageous food and scheduling demands and even had the upholstery on her chair customized to velvet.”
The disgruntled co-worker of Christina also ranted that the diva “forced everyone to come in super early… so she could wrap in time for a dinner date.” Then, she didn’t bother to show up until an hour after everyone else.
Is Christina Aguilera a diva? We don’t doubt it, she probably is a total diva. But, obviously she isn’t that horrible to work with – or else NBC wouldn’t have invited her back for another season. Obviously Christina is bringing in the ratings, and when you are detrimental to a show’s success – you tend to get a free pass at being a total diva and getting what you want. Is it fair to the people that have to work with you? No, probably not – but that is just the way that the cookie crumbles in Hollywood.
