Dash Dolls continues tonight with an all new Sunday, October 25 season 1 episode 6, called “Dash Dolls Take New York” and we have your weekly recap below. On tonight’s episode, Caroline Burt develops feelings for a rocker guy, but worries about becoming more than just friends with a musician.
On the last episode, the ladies traveled to Miami, where Taylor became close to her ex’s best friend. On tonight’s episode per the E! synopsis “Caroline develops feelings for a rocker guy, but worries about becoming more than just friends with a musician; and Melody does something she knows her family would object to when she agrees to do a nude shoot with acclaimed fashion photographer Nigel Barker.”

Kim and Khloe stopped by the store on tonight’s episode of “Dash Dolls”. It seems they’ve noticed an overall improvement at the store with their staff so they just wanted to stop by to congratulate everyone on a job well done.
The last time Khloe had to come to the store, she had pretty much yelled at everyone for fooling around at her family store. And told them to start acting like adults. However Stephanie has a weakness and it’s her boyfriend Colin. While she is technically the youngest amongst the girls, it’s Colin and her relationship with him that often worries her coworkers the most.
Colin is notable troublemaker and none of Stephanie’s friends at the Doll House approve of him. So there have been several arguments involving Stephanie continuing to date this Colin and it looks like there’s going to be several more. Colin you see was supposed to have zero contact with Stephanie because it was a rule at the rehab he was attending, but those two foolish met up the second he was given leave to visit the doctor. And, umm, Stephanie didn’t take it so well when Caroline happen to point out that she may have set his rehabilitation back.
Prior to Caroline saying that, Stephanie was laughing around about the hickey on her neck but having Colin’s problems reenter the picture ruined her moment of fun. And the look she gave Caroline was more than enough to get everyone to immediately drop the subject.
So the topic of Colin thankfully went away and no one was even mentioning him when out of the blue Stephanie called her friends in a panic. She told them that Colin had gotten kicked out of rehab after the center found out he had seen Stephanie. And because (in her own words) the rehab was overreacting, Colin’s probation was suddenly at risk.
Though Stephanie refused or at least didn’t see how her own actions facilitated the brand new crisis she and her boyfriend was facing. She blamed the rehab and admitted in the confessional that sure there was a part of her that was glad she had Colin back. But she hadn’t want Colin to get in trouble and she actually couldn’t deal with seeing him getting arrested when the time came around. Instead she gave him and his probation officer some time alone – then fell to pieces when she saw him getting escorted from the building in handcuffs.
In the meantime, Caroline who turned out to be right about the whole Stephanie and Colin meeting, was off enjoying NYC with Taylor and Mel. Mel had apparently booked a prestigious photo-shoot with Nigel Barker and so her girl tagged along for the trip. And Caroline was looking forward to meeting up with her friend Ronnie. Otherwise known as the guy she’s interested in yet wasn’t sure she wanted to date.
However Caroline never really got a chance to put her feelers out with this Ronnie. Once Taylor got going, no one could stop her. So Taylor decided for herself to figure out Ronnie and Caroline’s relationship by coming right out and asking them if they were hooking up. And then followed that up by saying she’s been hearing things.
And you know what? Ronnie got just as defensive as Caroline. So Caroline didn’t know how to take his reaction and was indeed afraid that he hadn’t felt anything more for her than friendship.
Therefore the only good thing to come out of the New York trip was Mel’s shoot. She and Nigel were clearly on the same page and the two came up with the idea of a nude shoot that wasn’t too much yet had a classic feel about it. And surprisingly the Christian values’ girl, Mel, ended up loving her photos.
Although Mel’s family on the other hand had a problem with her doing a nude shoot. Later after they the girls had gone back home, Mel had her mother over to the house and she showed her mom her latest portfolio. So the older woman was put on the spot and, like expected, said she didn’t approve of Mel doing nudes. It seems it was something she firmly believed would hurt her daughter in the long run.
But as for Stephanie, she finally decided to listen to someone and she saw a therapist for what she called an unbiased opinion about Colin. Only her doctor didn’t say anything new. She told Stephanie that she hadn’t been thinking about the consequences and that the reality is it didn’t matter how much Colin said he wanted to see her. She knew it was wrong and got caught up in being Bonnie to his Clyde.
So Stephanie realized she had been enabling Colin and she didn’t shy away from that when she went to visit him in prison.
And a question was answered on tonight’s episode. For Ronnie did have feelings for Caroline. It’s just he hadn’t liked being put on the spot when they were in New York but once they were back home he didn’t hold back on letting Caroline know he was into her as well.
