“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that Belle (Martha Madison) will finally arrive in Salem. Unfortunately, Shawn (Jason Cook) won’t exactly give his wife a warm welcome. In fact, Shawn doesn’t plan on being married to Belle for much longer.
Like any DOOL pairing, Shawn and Belle have had their fair share of problems over the years. However, it seems Shawn has had enough. “Days” spoilers say Shawn will remind Belle that he already forgave her for cheating on him once. Shawn will suggest that he’d be an idiot if he just let Belle’s infidelity slide again.
Marriage vows never mean much on a soap. Affairs are the norm, but regret typically follows. Belle will be looking for another chance, but Shawn won’t be ready to let go of his anger yet. Apparently, Belle didn’t learn her lesson when she betrayed Shawn the first time around. Why should Shawn believe Belle will stay committed to him in the future?
Of course, we don’t know the whole story. Maybe we should get all the facts before we blame the entire crumbling relationship on Belle. Still, Shawn has been hurt deeply and that’s going to be tough for this couple to move past.
“Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Belle will let her parents know that her marriage is ending. John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) will be stunned when they get updates on Belle and Shawn’s imminent divorce.
There’s a good possibility that Shawn and Belle will get back together eventually, but there could be an additional obstacle standing in the way of their reconciliation. Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) will show up in town around early December. Shawn is likely Belle’s true love, but she’s always been drawn to Philip as well. Being torn between two men is a common dilemma in Salem. Just ask Abigail (Kate Mansi).
Nevertheless, it appears Shawn and Belle may have a shot at working things out. Brandon Beemer will soon take over for Jason Cook and Martha Madison has made it clear that she’d love to stick around as long as “Days” will have her.
Shawn and Belle will have plenty of time to reunite if that’s what the writers have in mind. DOOL rumors hint that the tension could start to lift down the road. Stay tuned to “Days of Our Lives” to see what’s in store for Belle and Shawn.
