“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that after careful consideration, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will accept Aiden’s (Daniel Cosgrove) proposal. Hope was hesitant to move on, but she now seems confident she’s found Mr. Right. Unfortunately, DOOL viewers know that Aiden is all kinds of wrong. Aiden has a mysterious partner and a hidden agenda that could put Hope in just as much danger as Bo (Peter Reckell).
We don’t know for sure who Aiden is working with, but money must be a key motive. Aiden keeps making peculiar phone calls where he insists he just needs an advance and a little more time. Aiden believes he’s about to come into a huge bundle in the near future. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Hope and Aiden will begin planning their wedding, but will they make it to the altar? It looks like that may depend on how quick Bo can escape from his captors. Though Hope will probably have some lingering feelings for Aiden, it’s hard to believe she’d really turn Bo away. After all, it’s not Bo’s fault he’s been gone so long.
Some “Days” rumors suggest that Aiden could snap once Bo makes his triumphant return. If Hope gets back together with Bo, it might be too much for Aiden to take. There’s a very good chance that Aiden killed his wife and made up a cover story about Chase (Connor Kalopsis) accidentally doing the deed. Regardless, we now know Aiden is dirty and there’s no reason to think he wouldn’t come after Hope. If Hope backtracks, Aiden could easily become a jilted fiancé who’s out for vengeance. Then again, Hope might decide to honor her new commitment to Aiden and he could go along with his scheme as planned. Either way, this doesn’t end well for Hope.
Based on DOOL’s 50th anniversary promo, it appears that Hope will be the victim of an attack. However, there’s no guarantee it’ll be the real serial killer. It’s possible that Aiden could pose as the murderer in an attempt to cover his tracks. Of course, maybe Aiden IS the true serial killer, but that still means Aiden is 50 shades of crazy. The promo also seems to show Hope stabbing her attacker with a nearby knife or letter opener. Since Hope once threatened Aiden with a letter opener at his beach house, it would be fitting it if that’s what she used to finally do him in. Imagine the horror if Hope took off the attacker’s mask to find she stabbed her former love!
It sounds like some shocking moments may be in Hope’s future. Will Bo’s return send Aiden on a wild rampage? Anything can happen as the excitement revs up this fall. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” for updates on Aiden’s potential psychotic break.
