“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Friday, July 31, tease that Chad (Billy Flynn) will try to get through to Abigail (Kate Mansi). Chad told Abigail that he loved her and he didn’t mean any of the horrible things he said before. However, Abigail is done with all the games and she just can’t trust Chad. For all Abigail knows, Chad could be pulling the same stunt again just to get her into bed. Nevertheless, Chad will practically beg Abigail to reconsider. By the time Chad is done, Abigail will know in her heart that Chad is hopelessly in love with her. Unfortunately for Chad, Abigail may not be ready to admit she feels the same way.
To complicate matters even further, Abigail will have to deal with an unexpected proposal from the other man in her life. DOOL spoilers reveal that Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) will ask Abigail to marry him. Perhaps Ben will overhear a portion of Chad and Abigail’s conversation or see that they were in Will’s (Guy Wilson) apartment together. Even if he doesn’t know exactly what went down, Ben will undoubtedly pick up on the fact that Abigail is unsettled. Clyde (James Read) will tell Ben that he has to act fast to keep Abigail in his life. The best way to do that is with an offer of marriage. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” to see if Abigail will accept Ben’s proposal.
Meanwhile, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) will share a romantic encounter. They’ve really had stars in their eyes lately. All of these amorous evenings are likely setting up two important plot points on “Days.” First, Rafe (Galen Gering) will see that Hope is deliriously happy in her relationship with Aiden and he won’t want to rock the boat. That means Rafe will bottle up his feelings and begin to distance himself from his good friend. The romance between Aiden and Hope will also create some drama for Bo’s (Peter Reckell) return. The more in love Hope is with Aiden, the more torn she’ll feel when her former flame shows up in Salem.
Of course, some DOOL rumors point to Aiden’s possible demise down the road. If that happens, knowing Hope was so devoted to Aiden will make those scenes even more heartbreaking. For now, Hope and Aiden will remain on cloud nine. “Haiden” fans should enjoy these warm moments while they can. They probably won’t last long.
