“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Thursday, August 20, tease that Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) will decide he should create a story to cover up Clyde’s (James Read) recent attack. Clyde let Aiden know that he needed to keep quiet about his attacker—or else. As a result, Aiden got rid of the money in his wallet and ransacked the room to make it look like a robbery. DOOL spoilers reveal that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will hit Aiden with some tough questions, but he’ll manage to weave a pretty good tale. Aiden will claim that this was random and he didn’t see his attacker’s face. Hope’s suspicions will grow eventually, but her top priority will be making sure Aiden is on the mend.
Meanwhile, JJ (Casey Moss) will have a heart-to-heart chat with Paige (True O’Brien). “Days” viewers know that JJ never stopped loving Paige and he’ll take a moment to tell her how he feels. Ever since Paige found out JJ hooked up with Eve (Kassie DePaiva), she hasn’t been willing to hear much of what he has to say. Nevertheless, JJ put his life on the line to protect Paige from Kyle (Michael Cardelle) and his drug deals. Perhaps Paige will start to soften toward JJ just a bit. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” to see if JJ will make any progress with his bitter ex.
At the park, John (Drake Hogestyn) will try to explain his actions to Marlena (Deidre Hall). Thanks to a call from Roman (Josh Taylor), Marlena got updates on John’s plan to do some work for the ISA. John and Marlena were well on their way to reconciliation, but this secret could be a setback. Marlena will lash out at John for refusing to keep her in the loop. Fortunately, John always knows how to smooth things over with “Doc.” There’s a good chance John will be out of the doghouse before long.
Over at the club, someone will pick up on the fact that Rafe (Galen Gering) may have more than friendship on his mind when it comes to Hope. Since Clyde just waltzed in for a drink, maybe he’ll be the one who gets a clue. Clyde doesn’t like it when people start nosing around his business, but he sure doesn’t mind getting in everyone else’s. DOOL rumors hint that Clyde’s dirty deeds and ruthless attitude will catch up with him down the road. Stay tuned to “Days of Our Lives” to see if Clyde will pay the price for his mistakes.
