“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that Kristen DiMera (Eileen Davidson) will be stunned when Marlena (Deidre Hall) shows up in Italy. “Days” fans know that Marlena and Kristen have been feuding for years. Marlena has always tried her best to keep Kristen away from John (Drake Hogestyn) and Brady (Eric Martsolf). It looks like the tradition will continue as Marlena fights to keep Kristen away from Brady’s baby. The latest “Days of Our Lives” promo video shows Kristen threatening Marlena at gunpoint. As Brady rushes in, Marlena and Kristen will struggle for control of the gun. The exciting showdown will come to a close when Marlena shoves Kristen aside and sends her flying straight out of the window.
Since we’re talking about the DiMera castle here, we can assume that Kristen takes quite a tumble. The rumors say that Kristen may even plummet to her death. If Kristen doesn’t survive the fall, it could mean bad news for Marlena and anyone she’s connected to. Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) cares deeply for Kristen and you can bet that he would soon be on a mission to avenge his daughter’s death. Victor (John Aniston) is sure to be at the top of Stefano’s vengeance list. After all, Victor provided Kristen’s location and that’s what set all of this in motion.
Of course, it’s possible that the fall won’t be fatal. Kristen could end up critically injured and comatose. We all know DOOL writers love a good coma. In fact, that would probably be the perfect way to handle Kristen’s departure. Eileen Davidson spends much of her time playing Ashley Abbott on “The Young and the Restless,” but she occasionally hops over to “Days” for short story arcs like the one she’s in now. Kristen could easily hover between life and death until Davidson signs on for another stint.
Even if Kristen does bite the dust, DOOL viewers shouldn’t be too distraught. No one is ever really dead on a soap. Stefano has access to all the marvels of the medical field and there’s a good chance that Kristen will be back eventually. Stay tuned to “Days of Our Lives” to see if Kristen survives the perilous fall.
