NBA player and Chicago Bulls all-star Derrick Rose is being accused of drugging and gang-raping his ex-girlfriend – with the help of two of his pals. The lawsuit was filed in court this week, by a woman who’s name has been removed from documents to protect her privacy. The lawsuit claims that “Jane Doe” was dating Derrick Rose from 2011-2013, and throughout that time he was a horrible boyfriend – and tried to force her to masturbate in front of him and have sex with his friends.
According to the official court documents, the final straw was when Derrick Rose invited her over to his house – to hang out with himself and his two pals Ryan Allen and Randall Hampton in August 2013. The plaintiff reveals that the three men drugged her, but she managed to escape from the house unharmed. Later that night when she was at home in bed in her own apartment, she claims that Rose, Allen, and Hampton broke in to her apartment to finish the job and gang-raped her. Jane Doe confesses that she was still drugged during the alteration, but she remembers enough “flashes” to know that the assailants were definitely Derrick Rose, Ryan Allen, and Randall Hampton.
Chicago Bulls stars are in an uproar over the accusations against Derrick Rose, some are even having a tough time believing that they are true. When it comes to professional athletes, lawsuits like this are always messy – it is hard to determine whether the celeb in question is a cold-blooded predator, or the ‘victim’ is just trying to cash in on a major pay day. There is no news yet on who “Jane Doe” is – but some media outlets are reporting that it actually might be the mother of Derrick’s child, Mieka Reese, who broke up with Derrick in October 2013.
A lawyer for the Chicago Bulls all-star says the charges are ‘outrageous’ and expects them to be dismissed.
