On tonight’s episode Zoila [Judy Reyes] and Javier [Ivan Hernandez] prepare to get married, but Genevieve [Susan Lucci] insists that Zoila listens to her advice.
On the last episode, Zoila and Valentina faced a serious decision about their future. Meanwhile, Marisol began a new business venture, and Carmen insists on being her first client; Blanca struggled with her new employer and discovered a disturbing secret; and an unexpected visitor arrived in Beverly Hills. On tonight’s episodes per say the Lifetime “Zoila and Javier prepare to get married, but Genevieve insists that Zoila listens to her advice. Meanwhile, Spence goes behind Rosie’s back to protect her; Marisol debates hiring for a picky client; Carmen begins a new job; Blanca suspects her new employer is hiding a lot more than she thought.”

RECAP:
Tonight’s episode of Devious Maids begins with Rosie and Spence in bed, they receive a phone call from the hospital. The nurse says that there is a man named Ernesto at the hospital looking for Rosie. Spence tells the nurse that it is some sort of sick joke, and Ernesto is dead. Rosie asks Spence who he was on the phone with – he lies and tells her that it is nothing and everything is fine.
Zoila and Javi are rapidly planning their wedding, they are getting married by the end of the week at the court house. They pay Genevieve a visit and ask her to come to the court house and be their witness, Genevieve insists that they have a proper wedding and she says they can have it at her house. Zoila declines but Genevieve begs her to let her host her wedding, she promises to keep it simple and Zoila agrees to let her plan it – even though she only has three days.
Blanca wakes up in the middle of the night and hears Katie screaming, she rushes in to her room and her mother Taylor is comforting her. Taylor explains to Blanca that she has been having nightmares the last few nights. Blanca takes Taylor aside and shows her the morbid paintings of blood and a woman holding a knife that Blanca found in her room – she thinks that Katie saw her mom fight off the intruder. Taylor reassures Blanca that her daughter will be fine, and they don’t need to contact her father.
Carmen is busy cleaning Evelyn’s house and she receives a phone call from Sebastian. He tells her that he misses her, but Carmen reminds him that they are broken up and she is trying to get over him. She rushes off the phone with him when Evelyn arrives, she takes Carmen outside to give her a tour of the grounds and list of her responsibilities. Evelyn take sCarmen outside and introduces her to Adrian. While they are outside a bus stops with a group of tourists, the guide announces that Evelyn’s house is the home of 3 different gruesome murders. Evelyn shouts at them and chases the tour bus away.
Zoila tries on wedding dresses with the girls, Rosie sees how big Zoila’s baby bump is and doesn’t believe that she is only 2 months pregnant. Rosie puts two and two together and realizes that it is Pablo’s baby and Zoila is actually 4 months pregnant. She warns Zoila that she is “playing with fire.” Meanwhile at Evelyn’s house she calls a real estate agent and plans to sell their murder house. When she gets off the phone Adrian has a present for her – a whip. Evelyn scoffs that their house is already the “murder house” and he can’t turn it in to a sex dungeon too.
Marisol is busy interviewing maids for her placement agency, a man named Jesse arrives. Marisol thought that he was a girl – she remind him that she founded the business to help “disenfranchised women.” Jesse snaps that she is being sexist and can’t reject him because he is a man, Marisol points out that she is rejecting him because he is rude. Jesse leaves and gets the address of one of Marisol’s most difficult clients – Gail. Everytime Marisol sends a maid to Gail’s house – she fires them.
Spence finds a picture of Rosie’s not-so-dead husband Ernesto in her night stand. She tells Spence that he has no reason to be jealous, she was “blessed to have two great loves.” Rosie reminisces about the day that Ernesto died, she was home making dinner when the police knocked on her door and told her that her husband was killed by a drug cartel. And, she couldn’t even bury him because the police never found Ernesto’s body.
Sebastian shows up at Evelyn’s door and Carmen thinks that he is there to see her, she tries to kick him out but then Evelyn emerges. Apparently she hired Sebastian to be her real estate agent and sell the murder house. Meanwhile at the Stafford House Blanca is taking out the trash and she finds Katie’s paintings in the garbage can. She takes them back inside and shows them to Katie and asks her to tell her what they mean. Katie says that the girl in the picture holding the knife is her, not her mother. She refuses to speak to Blanca, and keeps playing with her doll house. Blanca asks her who the dead man is in the painting and Katie reveals that it is her dad
Zoila heads in to Genevieve’s kitchen and Genevieve introduces her to the chef she hired to cater the wedding. Zoila meets Joelle and learns that she used to work with Javier…and they were married. Zoila is shocked – Javier had told her that he was never married.
Marisol heads over to Gail’s house and is shocked to see Jesse working there, Marisol orders him to get out before she calls the police. Gail arrive and raves about how amazing Jesse is – she actually writes Marisol a check, Marisol has no choice now but to hire Jesse to work for her agency. Meanwhile, Spence takes a photo of Ernesto the hospital, the nurse confirms that he is the guy that stopped by to see Rosie – her dead husband is not dead after all.
Blanca marches in to the kitchen and accuses Taylor of covering up her husband’s murder – she thinks that Katie stabbed and killed her own dad. Taylor tells Blanca that she is starting to sound crazy, and calls her husband Michael in to the kitchen – Blanca is shocked to see that Mr. Stafford is alive and well, and he isn’t the person that was killed in the Stafford’s living room.
Back at her office Marisol pays Jesse and tells him that he is fired and she won’t be needing him for the rest of the week. She thinks that he is up to something and she doesn’t trust him. Jesse shows hi a photo in his wallet of him and two other guys. He reveals that he was in Afghanistan, and his two friends in the picture died. All he wants to do is work in a place that is quiet and calm and doesn’t make him think of all of the horrible things he saw when he was in the war. Marisol caves and says that she will give him another chance.
Spence pays Ernesto a visit and tells him that he can’t just pop up on Rosie because she thinks he is dead, Spence tells him that if he really cares about his wife he will just lay low and not spring up and surprise her. It’s time for Zoila and Javi’s big wedding day. Javier heads upstairs and tells Zoila he has to make a confession before they get married. Javier confesses that he was married before, and it only lasted 3 months, but he didn’t tell her because he was embarrassed. Zoila forgives him and tells him that they all “have a past.” She doesn’t bother to share her big secret and reveal that the baby isn’t his.
Spencer shows up at the wedding, little does he know that Ernesto followed him there. The music begins playing and Genevieve heads upstairs to get Zoila, Zoila feels guilty about not telling Javi the truth about the baby but Genevieve reassures her it is best to keep it a secret. Zoila makes her grand entrance and Javier is waiting for her at the altar. While the pastor is reading the vows Ernesto sneaks in to the wedding – Rosie spots him and stands up and interrupts the wedding, and then she faints and falls to the floor.
