Lindy and Tommy were investigating the black net website called the Babylon Portal after a victim had reported an assault because of his involvement with it when Lindy ended up finding a picture of her missing sister. Now, on tonight’s episode of “Eye Candy”, that picture could mean anything. However, for someone as desperate as Lindy, she’s taking that picture as a sign of hope.

While she has to focus the official investigation on helping the NYPD with their victim, she asked George to look into the photo for her. And what he found surprised the both of them.

The killer, the one Lindy has been looking into, had attached Lindy’s case files from back when her sister first went missing to the picture. But what he found must have been too encrypted even for him. So in order for Lindy to actually read the file – she and George had to break in the Cyber Unit’s data themselves.

And this is what they learned: Lindy was being followed longer than she thought she was. Tommy it seems had wanted to take someone named Bubonic down and he saw Lindy as the perfect opportunity to get close enough to do so. Hence he had her followed and then he was planning on infiltrating her life down the line.

Though, the plan must have changed because it wasn’t Tommy that she ended up dating or falling in love with. That was his partner who had initially resisted the idea of using her.

So the files on Lindy was pretty much an eye-opener. And even though she was reeling from the shock – she eventually found what the killer wanted her to find. She went into the stacks of paper work the Cyber Unit kept and found the cell phone the killer must have planted there for her to find.

And in the meantime, Edward Kent (the victim in Tommy’s case) wasn’t being cooperative as he should have been. Earlier, someone had attacked him by taking a knife to his eye. So you would think Edward would want this person caught. But when asked, Edward claimed to have no idea about who would want to hurt him. Yet one of the girls he ordered off of the Babylon Portal coincidentally had a problem with her eye. And isn’t funny that this same girl is someone Edward tried to erase from his history profile.

So, ultimately, Tommy was wrapping up his case right around the time Lindy had been reading everything about herself, including her relationship with Ben, in their case files.

Tommy found the girl Edward had beaten up so bad she lost vision in one eye and he found out she had someone worth protecting. Like her brother that just so happens to be working for Edward at the moment. So that case was pretty much an open/shut version of revenge.

But, when Tommy and his team return to the office, things aren’t going to be the same as when they left with Lindy. You see she learned a few things. About herself and about Ben. So she’s not going to be all that forgiving towards the people that listened on her private life for well over a year. Or who kept pertinent information about her sister from her.

And that cell phone the killer had used to call her was traced. It’s not like George was going let that opportunity pass him by. Yet, even he was scared for his friend when he found out the person they were hunting had called Lindy from inside the Cyber Unit.

Luckily, the killer wasn’t after her. He merely wanted to be there when she learned the truth about the people she was helping.

Catherine it seems had a case about a man abducting girls. And it bared a remarkable similarity to Lindy’s sister’s case. But instead of discussing it with her team or with Tommy for that matter – she kept quiet about the case and refused to discuss it.

Ben had tried to fight her over that decision but he had gotten into trouble after he blew up Lindy’s cover before she could met the potentially dangerous Bubonic. So, even as the friendships she had developed at the Cyber Unite were proven to be faked, there was one thing in her life that was real. And that was Ben.

He really did love her!

And in his odd way, the killer claims to love her as well. That’s why he wanted to prove it by killing a girl that was going around pretending to be Lindy on social media.

THE END!
