FKA Twigs is the next biggest famewhore after Kim Kardashain and has used Robert Pattinson to boost her obscure career since they began dating. Of course FKA Twigs is a special Hollywood type who takes full advantage of every opportunity to use Rob and the media to push her face in the public eye and yet has the hypocrisy and gall to whine about it! Note to Ms Twigs – you fool nobody.
FKA Twigs is one of the newer artists hitting the indie music scene right now, and although she is doing a great job maintaining her image, it appears that her relationship with Robert Pattinson may be getting in the way.
The ostentatious R&B singer recently opened up to the New York Times about everything from her upcoming shows, to the way her career has been affected by her relationship with her now fiancé Robert Pattinson. According to the singer, ever since she started dating the Twilight star, she has been thrown into the spotlight, and it was changed the whole indie vibe that she was going for.
“It’s really hard. I can’t begin to explain how awful it is. It makes you want to just stop everything sometimes. It makes you want to smash your face into a mirror.”
Those are certainly not the words of a singer ready to take on the entertainment industry. We understand wanting to be a part of the indie sub culture right now, but when you start dating Robert Pattinson, you have to at least expect that your life is going to change in a massive way.
Fortunately, for FKA Twigs, she does not let this interfere with her relationship. She says, I didn’t see my life going this way at all, but it’s worth it. I’m so happy.” She goes onto say that she is extremely satisfied with her relationship with Pattinson and that she would not change it for the world.
FKA Twigs also opened up about the scrutiny that the couple faces being an interracial couple. She says, “It’s relentless. There’s no amount of songs I can sing or dances I can dance that will prove to them I’m not a monkey…Nothing can impale my work or make me choose not to say things a certain way or make an image the way I want.”
We recently reported that despite earlier rumors, it does look as though FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson will be signing a prenuptial agreement to act as blueprint for their upcoming marriage.
