TMZ reports that insiders say Gavin was crushed, but not really surprised, when Gwen and Blake both issued press releases on Wednesday, November 4 confirming what fans pretty much already knew – Shelfani is indeed a couple! Sources say Rossdale had inkling that maybe, just maybe, his wife of 13 years was hooking up with “The Cowboy” and pretending to be Rossdale’s loving wife in public.
Now Gwen Stefani is allegedly trying to walk away with a squeaky clean image, making Gavin look like the bad guy. That’s not really a surprise because Stefani ‘s new boyfriend kinda tried to do the same thing to Miranda Lambert.
There have been rumors that Blake’s PR team may have been behind the gossip that Lambert had cheated on Shelton with country singer Chris Young. That same management team might have planted gossip that Miranda Lambert was dating three of country music’s hottest guys at one time – Chris Young, Blake Eldridge, and Jake Owen.
The insiders say Gavin Rossdale told them Gwen Stefani is a paranoid control freak who did not want him out on tour for fear that Rossdale would hook up with groupies and assorted ladies while on the road. But Rossdale doesn’t seem to be going down without a fight.
Sources say Gavin is reportedly not at all happy with Stefani’s new song “Used to Love You” which implies Rossdale was a lousy husband who cheated on her.
