Ava Jerome (Maura West) has more lives than a clowder of cats and this latest “General Hospital” spoilers indicates slippery Ava will once again evade justice for her law-breaking antics. Here’s a look at what the delicious diva will be up to in coming weeks in Port Charles.
As of now, Ava is behind bars and despondent. She’s locked up at the Port Charles police department. Big brother Julian Jerome (William deVry) couldn’t steal the evidence that ties her to the killing of Connie Falconeri and boy-toy lover Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) has dumped her. And if that wasn’t enough, daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) told her that they’re done too.
Wow. Seems like Ava should roll up her sheet and play hangman in her cell. What’s a five letter word that rhymes with moose? (n-o-o-s-e) But don’t write Ava off so quickly. That slippery minx has some big breaks coming her way. First of all, looks like Julian might yet come up with a way to destroy the evidence against her. Something about clouds, digital data, hacks, yada yada.
But that’s not the big news. The big news is that Ava is pregnant again! And this time there is no chance that the baby belongs to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Nope. This time, Ava planted a seed from the younger of the bipolar bears and will be carrying the love child of she and her sexy young stud. This will be great news for Ava for many, many reasons.
First, since Ava will be walking out of the PCPD Scot-free for the killing of Connie Falconeri, she knows Sonny will come gunning for her. But with her carrying another Corinthos kiddo, it will be hands-off, no matter how frustrating that is for him. Second, Ava is pining away for Morgan. She loves him so much and him dumping her was devastating.
Telling Morgan about the baby should guarantee their continued relationship as co-parents and then she can worm her way back into his affections from there. Third, while Ava being preggers with Morgan’s baby will cement her split with Kiki, it will insulate her from most of her haters including Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford), et al.
Ava may be a mousy brunette bawling her eyes out with smeared mascara in a frumpy denim jail pantsuit today, but just you wait… Give Ava a couple of weeks and she’ll be barefoot, pregnant, have Morgan solidly back under her influence, be ensconced in Julian’s plush penthouse, safe from Sonny – and plotting to take over Port Charles. No one can keep Ava Jerome down. No one…
