Check out these “General Hospital” spoilers for the Tuesday August 11 episode. We’re on week two of the Silas murder mystery and all we know for sure is that he’s dead. First of all, can you believe Jake Doe (Billy Miller) proposed to Liz? He is the sweetest amnesiac in Port Charles and how does Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) respond? She runs off in a shame spiral. Liz feels horrible that Jake just came clean about investigating Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) because he wants to be honest while she’s been betraying him on the daily. Bad girl! Could this latest wave of guilt finally induce Liz to tell Jake he is Jason Morgan?
Meanwhile Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) asks Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) if anything has changed with Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). Sam is 100% certain that Hayden is lying about her spotty memory and Sam is 100% right. Hayden tells Patrick about Jake and then Patrick will blab to Jake about the bitter and long-standing rivalry between Sam and Liz over Jason Morgan.
Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpi) will tell Commish Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) that she’s seeing Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins). Val is so proud that she’s moving on but Jordan reminds her she’s dating Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) ex BF and living at her brother Nikolas’ house. Jordan will keep Dillon but start looking for new digs – maybe Kelly’s – she can be Nathan’s neighbor.
Lulu sits down to read Dillon’s screenplay rewrite and is moved to tears. Lulu is thinking fond things about Dillon and doubting her feelings for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Dante asks why she’s crying but she doesn’t want to tell him that she’s crushing on her ex and thinking negative thoughts about him smooching on her cousin. Their marriage problems will continue to fester.
It sounds like Dillon is in a loud argument with his dad – but, nah – they’re just running lines from Dillon’s script. Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) is helping his son fine tune some of the elements of his screen play. Paul is really making an effort to get to know his son but their time together also makes Dillon wonder about Paul’s other kid(s) that are his siblings and that he’s yet to meet.
Hayden asks Nik why he wants her back at his house if their relationship was over. Is Hayden fishing to find out if she was shot accidentally or if Nik was the one who tried to off her? We know she has her memory, so what’s she up to? Nik will play nice just in case she really has partial amnesia so he doesn’t alert her. The bottom line is she’ll be easier to kill at Wyndemere – but he won’t tell Hayden that.
Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) wants Franco (Roger Howarth) to tell him what his mom Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) called him about – the alternate suspect. But now that Ava Jerome (Maura West) made it clear that she’ll throw Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) under the murder bus, Franco will clam up. He’s willing to take the murder rap to save Nina – that’s how much he loves her. Aww. Plus, he’s nuts…
And while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is not convinced that Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) killed Silas Clay (Michael Easton), he is very much convinced that Julian Jerome (William deVry) is the culprit behind his mob troubles and he starts to develop a plan to out Julian and exact some revenge. But is Sonny just going nuts or does he have legitimate concerns? He’s nuts…
