Here are some “General Hospital” spoilers for the August 13 episode of the hit ABC soap. More mob violence on GH in Port Charles on Thursday. Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will make a gruesome discovery at a ratty apartment. Is it a body? Is it related to the mob wars? Is it the body of Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise)? Is it someone we don’t know about who just happens to be dead? We’ll find out – but all signs point to it being related to the mob wars raging in Port Charles.
Speaking of the mob wars, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) tells Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that he’s solely focused on being happy with her, but that’s not all. He’s got this whole mob war thing going on and he just killed the Russian. Carly asks him about the mob war and what Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) said but he dismisses her concerns.
Sonny just wants her to focus on the wedding and not worry about his business. Sounds like a line from the Godfather, right? “Don’t ask me about my business.” Sonny is sure that Julian Jerome (William deVry) is the guy, but he’s not. Get a grip Sonny. Then Sonny gets a suspicious phone call that sets him off even more. When will he figure out he needs to look elsewhere?
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) apologizes to Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpi). Hmm. Is that for real or did Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) put her up to it? Or is Maxie playing nice so she can get close to Valerie and make sure that she’s not making any moves on Dante? Hard to believe that Maxie is being spontaneously nice to the gal that made out with her BFF’s hubby.
Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins) has an offer for Lulu. Is he going to ask her to help make his movie since his dad Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) just gave him the funds to make his film? Lulu loves the script and would likely be happy to be involved but that will put her in close proximity to Dillon when she is already having some conflicting feelings about him and Dante.
Julian insists to Commish Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) that he’s out of the mob for good. He may be, but he also likely let some other force have his territory, but he can’t cop to that – snitches get stitches. Good thing Julian has his honey bun lawyer Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) with him so she can shut Jordan down. But will what Dante and Nathan find affect Julian’s fate?
Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) and Denise DeMuccio’s (Maura West) confrontation continues and Nina drops the truth bomb on Denise that she knows she’s really Ava and Nina wants to know what’s going on with Franco (Roger Howarth). Nina vows to take Ava down. Will Ava offer a deal with crazy Nina to get Franco out of jail so Nina doesn’t rat her out? Ava will have to act fast to shut Nina down.
Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) tell rat fink Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) that he has no case against his kid Franco because he’s got no motive. But Ric has Scotty’s secretary there and she says she saw Silas Clay (Michael Easton) arguing with Franco in Scotty’s office the day Silas died. Now Scotty has to go shake some truth out of Franco who isn’t willing to give up Nina so his hands are tied.
