“General Hospital” spoilers indicate that Monday, November 9, will be the public announcement at the wedding. Although we didn’t get the full Jason reveal on Friday, here’s a look at some of the action that’s going down on the November 9 episode.
On Friday, Jake Doe (Billy Miller) made it to the altar, but the big action comes on Monday when Jake tells Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and their wedding guests that he’s Jason Morgan. Jaws drop all over – Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) will be hardest hit.
Liz looks shocked, but not because this is news to her – it’s because she’s terrified she’s about to get dumped. She’s not – at least not yet…
Jake is frustrated over his aborted wedding and turns all that anger on Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) who is blindsided when Jake launches a physical attack on him. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and others will have to talk Jake down from choking the life out of the evil prince.
Jake and Liz need to talk, but the wedding will leak over onto Tuesday’s show as well. Liz won’t get dumped yet, but she’s clearly terrified.
Meanwhile, there’s action over at the courthouse in the custody hearing that could rival the wedding drama going on at the chapel. Ava Jerome (Maura West) is prepared to fight dirty and is armed with a plan inspired by dirty DA Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) on how to make Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) lose it in court and look like an ass. Meanwhile, Sonny vows to Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) and Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) that Ava absolutely cannot win this.
Ava has Julian Jerome (William deVry) there in her corner and tells him she has to win this at all costs because there’s no way Sonny will grant her any face time with her daughter if he wins custody. Julian knows how much this means since he just got little Leo back in his arms after Olivia Falconeri’s (Lisa LoCicero) death ruse failed. Julian is prepared to go all in to help his sister keep her daughter so their kids can grow up together. Go Team Jerome!
Also, Sonny is still upset that Carly isn’t on hand for the hearing. She’ll have to call and make her excuses even as word starts to leak out all over Port Charles about Jason Morgan being alive after all. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has a confrontation with Paul that gets ugly when he brings up Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer).
Paul sure knows how to push her buttons and Anna will push back hard. Will Anna see him making out with Ava or is Paul able to cover? He’ll cover – Paul is a pro!
The custody case and wedding will eat up time through Tuesday before the slow time lapse in Port Charles finally picks up pace again. And we’re wondering if little Jake Spencer (James Nigbor) will come back from his ice cream break in time to hear his bio-dad admit he’s Jason Morgan and say “told you.”
Out of the mouths of babes… Jake is going to be ripped apart by this reveal and Monday’s show is just the start of this pain fest.
