Check out these hot “General Hospital” spoilers for the hit ABC soap for Monday, March 16. On Friday, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) brought Jake Doe (Billy Miller) home with her and we know Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) won’t like that. Sonny showed up at Carly’s after she left and Jake answered the door. Monday, we’ll get to see how it goes when the former BFFs face off for the first time since Jake/Jason came back to Port Charles. Jake will offer Sonny a heartfelt apology for the whole bombing debacle but Sonny, as we know, isn’t a fan of forgiveness and will not accept it.
Doesn’t it seem like Sonny and Jake should feel some sort of kinship, though? “General Hospital” spoilers from the show runners indicates that the reunion will not be blissful. First, Jake is in Carly’s house which is a huge problem. Second, Jake is working for Julian Jerome (William deVry), Sonny’s mob nemesis, so that’s an even bigger problem. Third, Jake tried to blowup Sonny’s family, and that’s the coup de grace on why he won’t accept any apologies from the mystery man.
Sonny does have some insight into Jake’s character, though – remember Sonny told Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) that even though Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) put a micro chip in Jake’s brain, that doesn’t explain his skills. Sonny watched him take out a cop and is sure Jake was lethal before Helena got hold of him. How right he is! Sonny will clearly declare Jake an enemy for all these reasons and more and rumors indicate that Carly will be stuck firmly between the two.
Carly feels a bond with Jake, Jason was her BFF too, and she won’t want to violate his trust. But Sonny is her once-again lover and baby daddy, so she will be tempted to blab to him that Jake is really working for the cops – particularly when she learns that Sonny plans to take action against Jake that could backfire horribly since he’s a CI. Jake will put his trust in Carly, but Carly is capricious and will do something unexpected. The question is, will she betray Sonny or Jake?
Jake will get some action this week when he and Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) share a much-anticipated kiss. But just as they’re starting to get cozy, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will launch his wicked plan to break Liz and Jake up for good. By the end of the week, we’ll see Rebecca Budig start her arc on the show as Bailey, Jake’s “wife” that Ric has hired to cozy up to the amnesiac and drag him away from Liz claiming they’re happily married. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) will caution Liz about getting involved with Jake but every time she hears Jake is a bad boy, she just wants him more.
Also on the mob front, Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) finds Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) lurking outside Kelly’s and will demand to know what he’s doing. He’s following Duke to kill him as he and Julian planned (but he won’t tell Sabrina that). Inside Kelly’s, Duke tells Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) that she has to kill Julian. Of course, this is a test to see if she’s a true mobster or a snitch for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) as they suspect.
Jordan will push back and demand to know why Duke wants her to kill Julian. Anna will tell Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) that she’s worried about Jordan (and rightly so) and “General Hospital” gossip indicates that they will debate extracting her but ultimately decide to leave her in place which will put Jordan in dire danger. Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) will grill her dad Julian and ask if he’s plotting to take over Sonny’s territory. Julian will placate her, but we all know that’s exactly what he’s doing.
And on the baby Avery front, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) will confront brother Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) and accuse him of being a terrible son to Sonny, a bad brother and a million other sins. Morgan will be encouraged to confront Michael by Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) who is still seething that Michael has hired Sabrina to take care of her little sis Avery, now called AJ. But don’t expect Michael to back down just because he’s head of ELQ and all suit and tie. When things get physical, he and Morgan will brawl and spoilers indicate that Michael will give his little bro an epic beat down.
Monday’s General Hospital will be action packed. Watch then check back with CDL for more hot “General Hospital” spoilers and gossip.
