GH Wedding stuff starts today in Port Charles – here are some “General Hospital” spoilers to get you ready! New writers Jean Passanante and Shelly Altman are holding fast on the less time with kids rule, but today we will get a glimpse of some of Port Charles’ shorter residents.
First, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is back at long last and she shows up to see granddaughter Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) which surprise the whole family including Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson). They spend a little time catching up and Anna tells them about her European visit and vows that she’s back to stay. Anna is ready to clean up Port Charles!
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) left Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to spend her pre-wedding night alone, but meets up with her amnesiac BFF Jake Doe (Billy Miller) who asks if she’s having cold feet about the wedding. Carly assure him that she’s not, she’s just worried about Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) mental state and really wants Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) at the ceremony.
Out at Wyndemere, Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) is pimped out for his first day of school and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) really digs his sassy style. Hayden has a before school breakfast with Spencer and his dad Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) and their bonding prompts a flashback to a steamy kiss between her and Nik. That memory goes deeper to she and Nik discussing Jake.
This prompts Hayden to ask Nikolas if he knows who Jake really is. In true Cassadine style, Nikolas looks her in the eye and flat out lies and says he does not. Dirty lying jerk. Hayden isn’t ready to let this go and will try and dig deeper into her memories and into Jake’s identity because she realizes this is key to what happened to her and why she was shot. Watch out Hayden…
TJ Ashford (Tequan Richmond) is freaking out because he volunteered to take care of the wedding cake and thinks he’s going to ruin the wedding because he’s failing miserably. TJ calls in Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) and fusses to her about it. Molly reassures him but, other than that, she’s not going to be much help. TJ is going to have to look elsewhere for a bail out.
Michael and Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) cuddle in bed and he fills her in on Morgan’s mental health concerns and says he’s reconsidering attending his parents fifth wedding. Michael says he still hasn’t forgiven Sonny for killing AJ, but feels like he needs to be there to support Morgan in case his baby brother has a total meltdown.
Too late. Morgan is having a total meltdown. Over at Casa Corinthos, Morgan is screaming at his dad Sonny about how this bipolar thing is all his fault since it’s hereditary. Sonny, of course, feels horrible for Morgan, but he can’t rewrite the kid’s DNA. Sonny does the best he can to empathize. Sonny wants Morgan to get help and get better.
Later, the wedding stuff starts and it will be several days of doings, gift giving, guests arriving, drama, violence, adorable baby stuff, great fashion, etc. Stay tuned to CDL daily for daily “General Hospital” spoilers plus extra gossip, casting news and more!
