Here are some “General Hospital” spoilers for the Monday August 3 episode of the hit ABC soap -Monday brings new beginnings and endings. The ending is Silas Clay’s (Michael Easton) – the doctor is gone and Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) says a sad goodbye before she lets Franco (Roger Howarth) take her back to Shadybrook so she has an alibi. Nina may have had the bloody knife in her hand, but it’s far likelier that Ava Jerome (Maura West) or Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) finished Silas off.
Since Morgan left Denise and headed straight to Silas’ place, he would be the likelier culprit. This is not good for Ava who needs Franco on her side to get the murder evidence against her from his dad Scotty Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) desk. If Franco thinks Ava killed Silas, he may turn on her to save Nina. Franco might even turn Ava or Morgan in now that he’s got the girl back, or does he?
Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) awakes with Jake Doe (Billy Miller), Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) there. Hayden may not remember being shot, but she definitely remembers all the dirt about Jake and who he really is. She will tell him he is Jason Morgan and it will be too late for Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) to shut her up.
Nik tells Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) to keep quiet about Jason’s identity and she will agree, but won’t be happy about. It was Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) that convinced her by revealing that Nikolas will go down for murder for Hayden’s shooting if all this ugly truth comes out. Too bad it’s about to be too late for any take-backs.
Denise gets some face time with Julian Jerome (William deVry) and they swap secrets. Will Denise reveal she’s really his sister Ava? And will Julian admit that he’s secretly behind the attacks on Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) territory by giving the Jerome syndicate to someone else? What dirty secrets are these sinister siblings willing to admit to each other?
Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) confronts Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) about the blanket and about scheming against his sister Nina. Did Ric have time to destroy the blanket? Ric better watch out – now he has both Franco and Nathan gunning for him. Will Ric and Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) have time to siphon off Nina’s cash before it all comes crashing down?
Meanwhile Morgan chats up Sonny and admits that he fell back into the honey trap that is Denise DeMuccio. Sonny tells him to just be honest with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) if he wants a chance in hell that their relationship will work out. Will Morgan tell Sonny about the murder of Silas to get his killer dad’s professional advice on that as well? Or is Ava the real culprit? Hmm…
